What travelers are saying
- TO-psychToronto, Canada306 contributionsI have been coming to the County annually for the past 9 years and this is still one of my favourite wineries for consistently good Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. On my most recent trip, it was still kind of chilly, so we sat inside their tasting room. It's a very cozy, inviting space and they were super welcoming towards our pup - even giving her a little treat :) If you do a tasting, you get 10% off whatever bottles you purchase. I found the staff here knowledgable and kind. Don't forget to snap your pic in front of their distinctive purple barn!Written April 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Irene SGrimsby, Canada228 contributionsStopped in for a tasting with my husband. Wines were good and the place was really busy. Didn't eat as the wait time was to long.Written May 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Irene SGrimsby, Canada228 contributionsGreat winery. My husband and I stopped in for a tasting. They have great sparkling wines. Yes I walked away with 2 bottles. A must stop on the wines route.Written May 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Stephanie C2 contributionsReally cute place with European style hot dogs. It’s possible to buy a tasting kit which was an amazing idea but the white wine was not cold so we did not enjoy as much as we wanted. Overall pretty good!Written July 24, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Irene SGrimsby, Canada228 contributionsVery Nice winery. During COVID it is outside patio tasting only, which is a good thing for sure. Staff were great, friendly and knowledgeable. The ground were well kept and tidy. They had sanitizer for everyone to use. Nice wines.Written July 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rob 10KOttawa, Canada233 contributionsGreat beach, clear fine sand, the water had waves of a pretty decent size the one day it was windy. Clean, plenty of facilities and twenty minutes from Sandbanks if that park is all filled up. Long, flat beach so people who want to get their 10K steps will have no issues here. Interesting that this is more like a 'sand bar' so that you have water on either side of the beach area.Written August 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RandomSkierDudeToronto, Canada34 contributionsThis is a lovely little winery tucked away in a slightly less traveled part of Prince Edward County. The owners and winemakers limit their output to small batches of a few varietals and blends, but what’s offered is quite outstanding and done with tremendous care and attention to detail. Wine tastings are a great experience, as Dave G. himself would share his consummate knowledge of wine and lore. There is a lovely garden filled with flowers and eclectic sculptures to linger in. Highly recommended for a visit.Written August 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MoBarlow1625 contributionsWe visited Sugarbush as part of a wine tour and were delighted with the service and the wine! Betty was friendly and knowledgeable, entertaining our whole family who ranged from 20 to 80 years old. The wines were delicious and we purchased several bottles. Will definitely be back for more!Written July 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

However, a referral from a server at one of the bigger , well known winery's suggested Hubbs Creek, particularly if you like Pinot Noir.
Have been back a few times when in PEC. Great Pinot Noir. Tried the Chard for the first time and it was very good.
Now a regular on our wine travels.
Good conversation about the wines. Very knowledgeable. Ask him about his fly fishing trip and you will be there a while.

There were 4 pasta options - 2 vegetarian. We had the rabbit and the bolognese and both were fabulous. Simply served, beautiful breezy tasting room. Great views over the vineyards. Go if you get the chance.Written August 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RayzorWaterloo, Canada264 contributionsWent to this place on a wine tour in the area. The Gentleman giving the tasting was very pleasant, helpful and knew the wines very well. The prices were one of the more reasonable in the area and one of the better wines we had all day.
I would go back if in the areaWritten August 16, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
