- Karen VGrantville, PA133 contributionsAutumn at Bushkill was beautiful! While there were loads of autumn seekers, the trails flowed easily. Trails are marked and there are plenty of signs in the event you get off your trail.Written October 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ShaneSellsSeashells284 contributionsThe parking lot had ample space to park and the wooden boardwalk path was easy to locate. The first site was a mere minute into the hike at Silver Thread Falls. The vast height was mind boggling. The journey takes you over a flexible bridge, weaves you around different foliage and drops you at natures eye candy. Right before you get to the wide platform you can take a steep stair path to the left. This will take you to the top of the falls in a series of integrated levels and platforms so you can rest. The best part was looking down and seeing all of the series of natural made circular pools and smooth formations. This trail was handicap accessible with the exception of the alternative path at the end to climb to the top. The microcosm of environment was fascinating! The mist, moss and fairy like atmosphere felt magical! I should add that I picked this site over Bushkill Falls because I read online that it was a little more laid back and free. Two thumbs down for the bathrooms. I didn’t use them you there is no avoiding the stench as you walk by.Written November 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ShaneSellsSeashells284 contributionsI really enjoyed being able to experience the falls from many different heights and vantage points. I was leary about going due to the drought but it was still mesmerizing! My favorite part was the cave/nook area I also loved hunting for the super tiny little pinecones the size of a nickel. The two parking areas were snug but it flipped fast since the hike can be done in 15-30 mins. The microcosm of environment was fascinating! The mist, moss and fairy like atmosphere felt magical! If you have tiny humans I would be sure to not let go of their hand in some areas. The trail can be step with loose footing too,Written November 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Great way to hide from some heat for few hoursWritten November 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Well marked and accessible walkway leading to an area where you can easily see the main portion of the falls. We picked a day that was sunny, clear, and a bit breezy, which was perfect. Lovely place to stop off at while traveling in the PoconosWritten May 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nicolehX8446GYChester, New Jersey23 contributionsWe went on a weekday so we didn't get charged to go it's less than a 5-minute walk to see the waterfall. There was another couple there while we were there and her brave husband hiked up the side of the mountain thing to get to the top of the waterfall he was very very brave it says hike at your own risk and they're not kidding it's very dangerous I I feel like it's very dangerous. But you walk down a nice pave Pathway to the bridges they made and then you see the waterfall we went down towards the water and everything it's very beautiful but it's one waterfallWritten November 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Griffin Art and A4 contributionsSome comments are reading that it's dangerous, and hard to get to, but it seemed easy to us. We parked at the game lands parking area below the falls. Across the street there's a sign that reads Tanners Falls. We walked up the gravel road and enjoyed looking over the cliff at the rushing water below. We got to the top of the hill, and yes there is a closed bridge above the falls, but the steep path to the left was a fun adventure to navigate down a little ways, where it opened up to a beautiful view of the falls. You may have to sit on a rock here or there to climb down, and you may have to get on hands and knees to climb back up. It's also interesting to check out the old rock and moss foundations of the Tannery. It was fun, I didn't want to leave!Written November 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- HoborunBrooktondale214 contributionsThis is a lovely and relatively easy walk to see a few waterfalls. The falls are nothing so special but still very nice. I was told the trail is now open to the top but we had already seen the upper part the previous day. We saw very few other hikers unlike the more popular falls.Written April 25, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
