My partner and I did the steepest walk and it was great. The track is well set out and signposted with options to change your path where some of the tracks join onto each other. The walk itself is lovely but does require a moderate-good level of fitness. The view at the top is stunning. It’s not a full 360° view from the top but you can see in all directions by walking to different parts of the summit.

Stretching for as far as the eye can see was this beautiful beach, that we had lunch at and walked for a couple of hours, it is well serviced with seating and tables perfect for a picnic, quite isolated during our visit.

We do it every time when we are at ‘The Mount’. The walk around the Mount is not too long and mostly flat. It is a very beautiful coastal walk along the Pacific Ocean. Highly recommended.

Our cruise ship pulled into this bay, it was such a nice scenic, entry, seeing, the beautiful sites of the mountain, and surrounds.

Cool museum covering a period of Zimbabwean history before the current period. Tastefully done managing to cover both sides of the story. Very informative guide willing to answer questions. Not for the blinkered who want to remove history that may be unpleasant to them.

Some things never change. You can only approach this island on foot from the beach and you can get some really good views. You still get the youngsters jumping off the rocks and the odd anglers looking for a bite. Still worth the walk around.

A great spot for retail therapy or, as we did, to catch up with friends over lunch [lots! of options]. Clean facilities and easy parking. Seems to always have road works outside when we visit?! But a small price to pay.

The Anzac memorial is worth a visit if only to remember the Australian and New Zealand forces that made the ultimate sacrifice on the side of Britain and the allies during ww2

Had a family day out including 2 young grandchildren at The Bay. It is such a picturesque ground with Mount Maunganui in the background. The Northern Braves beat the Auckland Aces pretty convincingly in what was a fun afternoon. Three hours was enough for the grandkids so we skipped the ladies match afterwards.
It is a tidy ground but it will have to have some covered areas for protection from rain, wind and strong sunshine especially as it has International status.

This mini golf course is a great course. It’s had a good tidy up over the last couple of years and is looking fantastic. We like this course as there are some challenging holes as well as some easy hole in one holes to make you feel like a pro mini golfer. The staff are friendly and welcoming. This is definitely our course of choice.

My family visited on a Saturday, so it was a busy day of the week. We were very impressed with the hands on safety especially as our daughter hadn't been go carting before, and at 16 is a bit of a speed freak. We were supervised throughout the session and any issues were dealt with promptly and with a smile, so everyone had a ball. We would recommend you to everyone based on our own experience and will definitely be back. Thank you for such a fun day.

I was given a voucher as a maternity leaving gift. I couldn’t recommend ThaiTouch highly enough! From as soon as you walk in you get a sense of relaxation, the staff are wonderful and so welcoming. I unfortunately didn’t grab the name of my masseuse as I selected any female massage therapist during my booking but she was absolutely amazing and I am sure the rest of the massage therapists are. I had a 45 minute pregnancy massage and I wished I booked for an hour or more. The experience is worth every dollar so don’t deny yourself some relaxation time with ThaiTouch! Side note: the tea and choccie at the end of the massage completes the experience!
