Good price and the kids had so much fun good that you get the laser tag and the inflatables included in the price, the manager is lovely and so helpful, the other staff tho aren’t the best very rude, my son wanted my aunt to go in to laser tag with him she paid the 3 pound for adults to go in and was told it was unlimited time they got to play for about 5 minutes and was told to leave because they had a party when they said what they had been told about as much time as they wanted the man running it said there’s a party so they left, my son who was in the laser tag is autistic/ADHD and got very agitated, ino obviously they wouldn’t have known this much just a little warning before going in would have been good. My 2 year old then ran and got in to the inflatables so I had to case him to get him out as he’s to little the girl running it told me ti get out as I have to paid to bounce I told her I’m just getting the baby as I didn’t want him in there and she just looked at me and said well you need to pay to come in. Ino it can’t be fun working at a childs soft play but a little more understanding would be good.

An interesting and informative collection of artefacts from the time when the control tower was used by RAF and American Air bases which becomes a history of flight especially as the site was used for testing and developing planes.
Two rooms of models, uniforms and interesting stories covering planes, the military and life during this time provides lots to see and enjoy. I enjoyed this visit and as it is on my doorstep I might pop in again occasionally as it is worth focusing in on one aspect as there is so much to take in.

Excellent museum. Changed a great deal since my last visit. Defo worth another look. Talks about the use of the site from 1916 to 1963 - not just WW2.

Played a couple of games of bowling this weekend. The place itself is pretty tired but it seems the equipment isn’t very well maintained either: pin spotters aren’t accurately adjusted so scores are inaccurate, the control buttons on a lot of lanes also don’t work. The staff seemed like they didn’t really want to be there, even the manager and when we ordered our drinks they were all served as short measures.

With a new modern centre opened in town they really need to up their game.
