- fran p7 contributionsAmazing trip, didn’t have time to do a few days safari so this was an excellent alternative. Our driver Clement was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained for the long drive and we had a stop to get snacks and refreshments. Once there the facilities are great, free drinks on arrival and lunch. The safari was stunning, it doesn’t matter which side of the truck you sit they will always manoeuvre the vehicle so both sides get to see the animals. During the navigation he checks the health of the passengers and is aware of how they are doing. He takes his time to look for the greatest variety of marine fauna and that everyone enjoys the experience. My family and I had a great time because he made sure that everyone had fun and took home good memories. The dunes were breathtaking, and the experience was thrilling from start to finish. The guides were professional, making sure we felt safe while still having a blast. This adventure is definitely a must-do when visiting Cape Town – a perfect way to combine adrenaline and stunning scenery!

He was extremely knowledgeable and made sure everyone was having fun! The sights are also amazing with lots to see and do, what you are able to fit into 3 days is amazing. The ‘captain’ was pretty miserable said little other than basic safety briefing but didn’t spoil the enjoyment. Amazing views of V&A, Tabke Mountain and Lions Head and even did some Seal spotting in the harbour on way back. At the end of the trip, another complimentary drink given and much needed as it was a warm day! - Charlene F8 contributionsWhere to begin with how amazing this experience was?! Didn’t realize this was going to be private vs a group type of day trip. Ruben was great as a driver and guide for the day. He was on time and shared so much history. I made the mistake when booking and accidentally booked a month early. They were kind despite the site saying all sales are final and changed the date to the correct one. Amy was kind in her follow up correspondence.
The Aquila game reserve is a fantastic experience as an intro before going to Kruger or a bigger park. The breakfast and lunch were good. The views at the reserve are beautiful. I happened to go when the weather was horrible, pouring rain and low 30s, but game driver was great and super knowledgeable. We were able to see 4 out of the 5 (no leopard).
The stop at Fairview for a wine tasting was great as I didn’t want to miss trying some South African wine.
Overall, this is a fantastic day experience out of Cape Town. I highly recommend booking. The vehicle was clean and comfortable for the journey.
