During the journey our tour guide talked us through the scenery and information about the area including the Amalfi coast and more detail as to what happened with the volcanic eruption in 79AD.
We took the Vesuvio Express (round trip bus from Ercolano Scavi stop and entrance fee for 20 euros per person; 1h40min at the mountain) and it was very convenient!
