    Review of: Dutch Poultry Museum
    The chicken came before the egg!
    Everyone asks which came first, the chicken or the egg. THis museum does it;s best to try to answer this question.
    There are collections of all kinds of things that have to do with egg and chicken production in The Netherlands. Its history, the machinary, the chickens of course. Also all kinds of things like egg cups.
    The museum is clean, has easy access, nice coffee, a small shop.
    You can spend an hour or so visiting it, but can probably listen to the volunteers for hours.
    I visited the museum with a group. I do not know if you have to pay to get in.

    Review of: Landgoed Schaffelaar
    A Castle in Barneveld
    Landgoed Schaffelaar is a quite big estate with a manor house or I'd preffer say a castle. The castle building of 1850 is in Neo Tudor Style, very beautiful. We couldn't visit the castle self as it's a location for events. Walking in the estate is free of charge. There is also a jewish monument near the castle as the house was used by the Nazi as a reservation camp during the WW2

    Review of: Oude Kerk
    Church Tower With a Suicide History
    A day out wandering in Barneveld was nice. The centre is not big and when we saw the old church was open, we made a stop. Very friendly people in the church whom we talked to. The organ is the only beautiful interior. But outside, there is a very remarkable spot on the tower square, at the right side of the tower, the placet on the ground where Jan van Schaffelaar ( a cavalry officer ) jumped off from the church tower.

    Review of: Museum NAIRAC
    A small gem
    This small, but charming museum, run by enthousiastic volonteers, is worth a visit for its permanent and tempory exhibitions. In this case Merel Jansen was showing her artworks, which we enjoyed very much. Just drop in when you are in Barneveld!

    Review of: Oude Raadhuis Gemeente Barneveld
    Cute Bell Tower
    This old Town hall is located in the shopping sreet of Barneveld. This building is one of a few old buildings in the area. It was not open because the new town hall is just behind this building. The small bell tower is cute.
