    Coll de Pal, July 2022.
This was my best nature trip for a long time before only being surpassed in April 2023 by a trip to Madrid.
We made the ascent to Coll de Pal by car, stopping and starting along the way especially at the Woodpecker Route. Although I came here for the bearded vulture and others for the views, I ended up getting highly distracted by the amazing scenery, the multitude of butterflies including swallowtails, and the flocks of vultures overhead which after a good rain included a majestic hunting golden eagle at close range.
Towards the top of the road there were flocks of choughs and alpine choughs. Alpine marmots were everywhere, and in the end I did manage to see a bearded vulture here in the evening, circling a crag at stunningly close range. Very worth a visit, even just for the views alone, but beware the unstable weather in the summer

Font de l'Adou is the place, where is the source of Bastareny River and it is located in the Pyrenees Region, close Bagà, a little town near Berga. We came here in a little walk (around 9km go and return) to arrive to these little waterfalls. It is a very nice place to come with children and do a pique-nique. The views are very beautiful.

Sant Esteve Church is a neat and attractive small stone church built in the 14th and 15th centuries in the charming small Medieval town of Baga. We very much enjoyed walking about the town.

Visited the church as part of the three countries in one day tour. The church is built in gothic style with high stone walls, a sloping tiled roof and a square bell tower at one corner. It offers great views over the surrounding country.

Worth a short stop as part of the tour.
