This is a hidden jewel in Diano d'Alba. This is a Cantina Comunal which means that it is supported by the local wineries. These Comunal Cantinas are in most of the local towns and are great to visit because they do NOT mark up the prices. You can taste the wines before you buy them and pay the same price as you would if you bought them from the wineries.

This enoteca offers a large range of wines in a large range of prices. We had a very enjoyable and educational wine tasting conducted by Alessandro, who taught us (wine judges from Canada) about the local grapes and vintages offered. If you are in this area, we recommend you drop by to taste (and/or buy) some wines from this enotecha.

This family is so great! You're always welcome to taste some wine and they generally spoil you rotten. We buy our wines here for years already and are always happy with the incredible quality for a very agreeable price.

This nonprofit offers superb relaxation when you cannot take another day of drinking wine... oh, wait — you can still do that here too. The pool is enormous; there are 3 or four dedicated lanes for laps. The children have a smaller pool as well, but they are welcome to swim in the deeper pool as well. Children go to camp on the grounds and get a good swim in the afternoons. They are not a bother. There is plenty of room! I do not play tennis here but there is an excellent (and very nice) pro in charge of everything. The clay courts are immaculate. You can take a chair in the pool area or relax on one on the lawn. From there the view is amazing: you are surrounded by vine-covered hills. A nice restaurant is on site for lunch or a snack. This year (2018), there will be a “happy hour” in the late afternoon with music and fun. Membership is 120€ for the season (June 2 thru the beginning of September). For 20€ per day for non-members space permitting.

We had a great time at the winery of Luca. He is a very entertaining host, and served us some great wines. He really gives you the feeling you are welcome.
