My Dad and I had the pleasure of spending a full day fishing with Matt.!We had an excellent time to say the least. Not only is he the best fly fishing guide I have come across in my years of fishing, but he is a very friendly good soul who is passionate about teaching the beautiful art of fly fishing. Any season, any weather, any skill level, there is no one I would recommend more than Matt Heron.

By far the best fishing charter in Tahoe! I've been going out with Capt. Bob for my birthday the past 8 years and he's always limited me and my family out. Definitely a blast and friendly staff.

Our day on the lake could not have been better!
We are not boaters so having our own Captain was a must.
Bryan was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely competent. The Grateful Red is a beauty so we not only had a good time, we looked good on the lake. Perfect day and perfect way to experience the beauty of Tahoe.

Great day out on the lake with Danny! Got our limit of fantastic lake trout. Danny was a great captain, a master fisherman and outstanding with my kids. Highly recommended.

4 adults and 2 kids went for a half day in the afternoon. Booking was easy and they were flexible as we added more people. Parking at the marina can be difficult. The boat has good indoor space, water and snacks with a cooler and there was plenty of space to fish even with 6 people. We caught several lake trout and got them cooked up for dinner. Excellent!

We rented a boat from SWA Watersports early August 2020 and it was great! Everyone was very nice and professional. They explained everything we needed to do to have a fun, safe trip while out on the boat. Olivia was very helpful and professional in reserving the boat. We rented a boat one time in the past years ago and this year with Covid-19 going around it seemed like it would be a great time and you’re able to social distance. I would definitely use this company again in the future. Thank you so much for the amazing time again!!

I contacted LTP on Feb 16 because we had a vacation scheduled in mid April to drive up the 395. Dennis wrote me back quickly every time. We chose LTP because they opened their season earlier than most charter places (most open in May and we needed April 19) and they offered 1 hour charters.
I have gotten seasick on single hull boats before so I was hoping I'd be ok on a pontoon. The day we went out the water was like glass. Dennis explained the boat, locations of all safety items, and stayed with us while we took it off the dock & back and then turned us loose.
We were on their newest boat, Rosie, and she still had that new boat smell. She's a triple float pontoon and was very smooth and I didn't get sick at all.
Because it was early in the season, we left from Cave Rock State Rec Area. The fee is $10 for Nevada license plates, $15 for out of state. You get in & out privileges the day of your parking pass till 1 hr after sunset but the attendant said they never close the main gate or bathrooms. We came back for sunset & astrophotography and left at 4 am.
I highly recommend LTP. It's a splurge but so worth it. We left knowing next time we want to rent for half a day.

My son and I went out with Captain Jim before sunrise on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. What a great time! Less than one hour after sunrise we had caught our limit (2 per person) of Mackinaw (Lake Trout). My son is intellectually handicapped and I must say Captain Jim was very patient with him and a great fishing coach for both of us!

Solid guide but even a nicer guy to fish with. Nice new clean comfortable boat, all the gear was in great shape and non stop Action.
You can tell Mike knows the lake as it seemed we were the only boat reeling them in.
    Can’t wait to come again.
