Well worth a visit especially on a rainy day as most of the market is under protective cover. Lots of beautiful food to view and sample. Vivid colors present in the carefully arranged fruits, vegetables and flowers…the Quebec autumnal bountiful harvest fully on display. Amazing aromas of apples and freshly baked bread/pastries. Several meats on display along with a smaller area for seafood…very enticing. Parking in an under the market is a little tight and crowded but very reasonably priced.

This foodies paradise is well worth a visit. It is near the Canal Lachine. Outside there are excellent stalls with fresh fruit and vegetables while inside the is everything from meat and maple syrup to patisseries and cheese. Note: the nearest Metro station is the one after Atwater - Lionel - Groulx

This is a mall. Just a mall. It was clean and organized well. It had some of the big stores you'd hope for along with some independents that were kinda cool. And it was convenient to where we were staying.

Amazing street art gallery. You will be surprised by their friendliness and their willingness to give you all the information about the artists.

We needed a long-sleeved shirt for a chilly day. The independent clothing shoppes can be pricey ($100 - $500 per item), although we did find a shirt at Winners (part of the Marshalls chain) for $30. Fun to shop.

This is a large mall at the centre of Montreal with multiple access points both above ground and through the underground city. The stores are very similar to those you will find in any large North American mall. If you are in the central Montreal it is worth exploring to see the unusual layout. Lots of food retailers on the lower level which get very busy at lunchtime.

A vertical shopping mall in the middle of downtown that emphasizes fashion, with the inclusion of a fashion show space in the atrium. Lots of clothes stores plus the unusual Barbie Expo.

The museum was short but well curated. It offered a more Roman Catholic perspective of Montreal’s history. The lookout is surely one to impress.

The current Kusama exhibit was predictably wonderful and our guide Laura was warm, knowledgeable and personable. A wonderful place with an admirable mission.

I absolutely love this place. I am from the states and I would move here just so I could go shop every weekend in this Flea Market thrift store. I have never left empty-handed as a matter fact I’ve actually had to buy an extra suitcase because I bought so much. most, and I do say most of the vendors there are very friendly. I found a couple of vendors who didn’t engage in any talk didn’t seem to want to negotiate on prices. Those are the ones that I remember and stay away from. I’ve been here four times and I’ve never ever left empty-handed.

Beautiful crafts, primarily First Nations and Inuit art, in a relaxing modern setting. A single large exhibition space so not overwhelming..

The Burrynsky show has much of the same kinds of images that he's been doing for decades. Although with some additions, such as agriculture.

However, there were at least 2 surprises: the 22-minute multimedia show was powerful and superbly disturbing.

The other surprise was the massive image of coral. So beautiful so beautiful.

    Worth a visit.

I bought some bagels here in a little store; they were just OK. And I think this is the skyscraper mall that also houses the ice rink and the bus station. Very modern and in the middle of downtown, so busy.
