We did the usual first level and then continued up to the SkyPod-highest public observation gallery in the world. From these vantage points, you get a clear picture of the skyscrapers of downtown (growing by the minute) contrasting with the suburbs. For those with height issues, avoid looking down while in elevators. At times you can see straight down through glass sections. From the moment we departed Bluffer's Marina, Aaron was totally focused on finding fish. His boat is clean and well equipped, and we found Aaron to be extremely knowledgeable and eager to make our day special. The fishing was excellent, and the experience memorable. - irachiPhiladelphia28 contributionsI was looking for a convenient and cost-effective way to reconnect with my love for sailing after many years away. Gone Sailing Adventures was the PERFECT solution! Over the course of 4 seasons I worked my way through the SailCanada curriculum taught by Captain Howie and his team, and worked my way up from the Catalina 275 Sport my first season to three seasons on the luxurious Dufour 380. Gone Sailing Adventures was my one stop shop to make my sailing dreams a reality. I loved the convenience of the marina being close to work and in the heart of the city. It made weekday sunset sails with colleagues easy and fun. And it was just as easy to take out friends on the weekend with the convenient access to Humber Bay and the Toronto Islands, and parking near the marina. The boats were well maintained and always ready for "step on" sailing. Captain Howie and his team are also available for private lessons, clinics, and special occasion charters. I hired a "captain for a day" a few times to help me build skills or just help out with the sailing so I could enjoy more time with my guests. This year my wife and I bought our own boat and look forward to cruising the Great Lakes and beyond. Our dreams are coming true thanks to Gone Sailing Adventures! Quickly we saw our driver Mel was polite friendly and kept pulling surprise treats out - ice cream, cookies, water bottles, etc.. all complimentary. - William KimLondon, Canada31 contributionsCame here with a group of friends to do the Operation Flamingo escape room back in August 2021 and we all had a blast! The escape rooms here are very family friendly and do not include any extra effects that may scare people. The difficulty level is just right for people of all ages (but don’t come here thinking the escape room puzzles will be a cakewalk), and the puzzles offered are definitely solvable in the quoted amount of time you have to escape. The hosts and staff are friendly and will be more than willing to give you a helping hand if needed. They also seem to have a variety of other escape room themes and even a virtual option should you wish to have an escape room experience from the comfort of your home. Definitely something I will consider if I’m in the mood to go do another escape room. The puzzles were clever and challenging, but always had a logical conclusion. Once we were on the walkway, we felt very safe and even thought it was very windy we have a great video and amazing photos! - M75D1 contributionHad a wicked time at @thresholdaviation inside their Boeing 737 simulator. The sim features a decommissioned cockpit of a United Airlines 737. There were definitely ear-to-ear smiles behind the mask. Assigning pirate names, painting tattoos, improvising, singing songs, and hunting for treasure – these activities really connected with the kids. They loved it. The staff were entertaining and engaging. The parents, who were at attendance, were equally impressed. You get about 3 hours to explore the Niagara Falls region, stop at a winery, and an hour to browse the interesting shops or bars in the quaint town Niagara-on-the-lake. Jimmy was a great tour guide who told us some interesting things about the region without being too invasive.
