- Malgorzata11,021 contributionsThis is a beautiful theater. Great old theatre in downtown Toronto. Beautiful building. It's a beautiful space for a theatre show. In the theatre you can take the time to soak in the authentic look of the original architecture and decor. It has wonderful acoustics. Staff was all very friendly. Close to the Eaton Center. There are lots of parking lots within walking distance or take an easy public transit trip. I highly recommend.Written December 28, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Megan ShephardInkberrow, UK76 contributionsA brilliant, emotional performance! The theatre was stunning and added to the fabulous atmosphere that made the production a memorable experience.Written August 3, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- christinedZ3663WN6 contributionsThe show was wonderful - the performers were outstanding. Very rarely have i seen a show that has three unbelievable leads that complemented each other and gave depth to the story. The staging and how the story was told was very good and easy to follow. I would highly recommend.Written March 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- caroline15 contributionsJust an absolutely amazing theatre! We came to see Come From Away a while back and the show, cast, and performance was astonishing. Hands down the best play I’ve ever seen but I have to mention the two theatres... They’re beautiful works of art, the most unique theatres I’ve ever seen. Once it’s safe to return, you bet I will be!Written April 15, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Michael AToronto, Canada516 contributionsKoerner Hall is a magical place. Not only beautiful and extremely calming to sit in and appreciate for it's textural and aesthetic qualities, but it has acoustics to rival just about anywhere. Drinks are served outside the entrances with a panoramic view of the park and philosophers walk behind the theatre, the lighting is soft and pleasant, and becasue of its intimate size, there are no crowds here - ever. walkways in and out are wide enough to eneter and exit comfortably, seats are comfortable... it is exceptionally good.Written June 2, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- blairkk25New Jersey2,863 contributionsI walked by Yonge-Dundas Square during my visit to Toronto in April 2022. It reminds me a little bit of Times Square in New York City with lights, screens, shops, restaurants. I did not linger here. I took a photo and moved on. I will spend more time here during my next trip to Toronto and probably in the evening.Written April 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- operalover939Toronto, Canada2,626 contributionsThe hall was custom built for opera, and returning to it after a Covid-caused hiatus of more than two years was wonderful. We attended a performance of La Traviata, the best we've seen and heard in several years, including performances in Venice and Berlin. Amina Edris was an effective Violetta; her voice and acting were both very fine. Matthew Polenzani and Simone Piazzola were also excellent as Alfredo and his father. The production was free of directorial quirks of the kind that are as likely to irritate as delight. A splendid afternoon!Written May 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Buffalo HammerEast Aurora, NY2 contributionsU can get a whole bottle of wine and also various craft brews. Great location as well. Also an area to get mixed drinks as well.Written November 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marc Z1 contributionOften we expect theatre - especially new works - to exaggerate for effect. Not Us/Them. Its impact comes from its subtlety. The actors play children and perfectly reveal the built-in defences children have against extreme conditions. Children do not explore the root causes or histories of events or look for meaning. They react spontaneously and morally without relying on theories, research or analysis to underpin their instinct. It undervalues children's resources to call these characters victims or survivors.Written March 11, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- merionettePhiladelphia, PA8 contributionsUnique setting with excellent film choices that often do not show in larger theatres. Venue consists of several small theatres, comfortable seats, building was built specifically for this purpose. There is always something good showing and also run some excellent series.Written February 11, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Moondoggie1957Woodbridge, Canada503 contributionsWe recently saw "We will rock you" at the Meridian Hall. The acoustics were great but our sightlines weren't that good. We had seats near the back of the hall and with 2 tall people sitting in front of us we had to look between them to see the show which was uncomfortable. Also charging $13 for a can of beer was kind of steep. Other than that we enjoyed the show.Written February 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ambassador1646831 contributionWent for A Christmas Carol by Soulpepper. Very high standard. Not a bad seat in the house and very good value price-wise. We'd certainly go back.Written December 15, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Chris and StellaToronto, Canada192 contributionsEnter and take the Grand escalator to a multitude of theatre choices for your movie watching. Comfortable seating and clean. Regretfully, the food choices and quality continuously declining with every visit. Love the theatrical experience. Sadly cannot support the concession quality to give it an excellent rating.Written August 18, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
