What travelers are saying
- Loretta G1 contributionAbsolutely wonderful and inviting space with a very friendly and knowledgeable facilitator. The shop owner is on site to assist with any additional needs of attendees, providing a stellar experience for everyone!Written September 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - llkrishllMontreal, Quebec, Canada14 contributionsI got a deal on Groupon for my husband and myself, which included a small canvas and a drink. When I went in person, we decided to upgrade to a larger canvas for $15 dollars each. I got a mint hot chocolate and I wouldn't get it if I ever were to return. The instructor was nice and friendly but I didn't really learn anything from her. Neither of us have ever painted before, so we were lost and weren't really taught any techniques. However, we improvised and enjoyed the time we spent there. Would recommend it to anyone.Written June 8, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Emilia B1 contributionI mostly did online classes but also some in-person. Communication was great. From the beginning they helped me, first to get what was level and then to plan the classes. I'm a doctor and I wanted to learn Spanish related to my profession.
Everything went well and I learned a lot.
Very recomendable school.Written February 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - synTorontoToronto, Canada1,493 contributionsI attended this wonderful place for a group event.
Staff: Very helpful and encouraging with easy clear directions helped make this a stress free experience.
Beverages: You can also order a variety of drinks like coffee and smoothies.
Activities: choose between painting or paint pouring.
Types of Events: I understand they can accommodate a wide range of activities such as corporate events, kids parties, adult lessons, family painting classes and more.
Overall: Nice people providing a low stress, fun activity. It’s worth a try.Written August 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. For about $30 you can create a ceramic item (mugs, picture frames, pen holder, you name it). Unfortunately, you have to wait a few days before you can pick it up (firing in kiln). The staff were quite helpful as I am not artistic and the mug (I 'heart' lawyers) turned out quite well. There were lots of kids (which made for some noise) all of which seemed to be having fun.
Overall a great way to create a unique personalized item in a few hours. Try to come when they are not hosting a party so it is quieter.Written August 27, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The studio and gallery space is a really comfortable and laid back environment where emerging artists work is usually hung on the walls and various printing presses residing in the other half of the space. I have taken two book binding workshops here which were taught by a guest teacher and took us through a basic and then advanced course on using different materials and types of bindings. the workshop goes at a nice speed and is very relaxing. It left me with a very niche and interesting set of skills. A lino carving class took me through the steps of cutting and carving in order to create a block which could be used on small cards. However, once learnt the skills can be applied to much larger projects and the teacher will share ways in which to continue the DIYing at home and on different scales. Lots of fun! a very wholesome time!Written June 13, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
