I bought one of the new students' specials, which is always a big plus since it allows you to try out various classes and teachers without it being hard on your wallet. The space is cozy and intimate, but not packed. I felt I was getting all the needed attention and adjustments from the instructors, with more than enough space to move around. I mention this bc I have practiced in studios where you severely restrict your motion from how closely packed the mats are. This is exactly what I needed at this time to compliment my home practice. The instructors are knowledgable and figure out ways to appropriately challenge you, and the studio offers workshops with ashtanga masters. Glad this place is around the corner from my work!

Intentionally magical and a gorgeous space. Took a course here and loved being in the space. Woman owned business too.

I've been going to the studio for 3 years now. They've a good community developed there, people are kind, the teachers are thoughtful and experienced. You can get classes as one offs or there's a range of other options.

I recently moved into the area and joined BeHot. The studio is conveniently-located near the St. Lawrence Market and offers a variety of Vinyasa and Bikram style classes.

Pros: The pricing is competitive, there is a good selection of later evening classes for days when I work late and the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Teachers are knowledgeable and offer modifications for more/less advanced practitioners. The main room is spacious and has sticker markers on the floor to maximize mat space. Mats are close together (approx. 6 inches), but it doesn't feel cramped. They have recently rearranged the small "be" room to make better use of the space.

Cons: Not many! The change rooms and locker area are cramped. I wish that mat storage was included in their yearly membership, but otherwise it's a very solid studio.

Love this studio and the staff. They have the most amazing classes, staff and workshops. Have done the rest revolution which is awesome, the Accu Restore workshop really helped and the Heal the Heart - I can't believe how amazing this was and it was the 1st of it's kind and I'm looking forward to many more of the workshops.

After taking a ‘calming ‘ Sunday afternoon class and signing up way in advance I was disappointed to see more than 40 people in this class. Instructor was an amateur and the establishment refused to refund my money. Just NO.

My daughter took me here for a class. I'm not a hot yoga fan, and this was not at the same degree as a regular hot yoga class, but it was too hot for me. The instructor was good, although a little fast. She serviced the class very well, making sure all were on task, and making good coverage of the room. This class pushed me, certainly much tougher than I'm used to at home. I would return if the opportunity arose.

I found the staff here rude and condescending. Don, the Director of the studio, was particularly insulting. I'm not sure if it was a lack of social awareness or just poor interpersonal skills, but the behaviour of Don and other teachers at this studio had me wondering if this was a Moksha Yoga culture thing, or just this particular studio culture. Over the summer (July 2018) I went to the Downtown location and had a wonderful experience.
For first time or new yoga practicers, I highly recommend finding another studio to practice. This studio reminded me of a cliquey high school environment where if you're not a part of the cool kids, they will laugh and make fun of you behind your back.

I love to check out yoga studios when I travel and this one, being right downtown, was perfect for a quick class.

I walked in and registered. I told the girl at the front desk it was my first time and she quickly pointed out a few doors and told me one was the studio, the other the change room. I had to make her repeat it.

Shoes off when you walk in but the floors are dirty. There was hair, paper and other debris on the floors of the change room. I wished I’d been wearing socks.

I was early so I borrowed one of their complementary mats and headed into the studio. There were no lights on - pitch black. I tried to relax but the hall light was glaring and the instructor was having a loud conversation at the front desk with someone about a car accident. Once I settled in, I could clearly hear the class going on through the walls. All this to say, I was pretty wound up by the time the class actually started.

The actual class was ok, an all levels flow that was clearly targeted at beginners. Again, no real suggestions for an advanced yogi.

Last bit of rant: they provide those faux rubber mats you can buy at Winners. No real grip.

I wish this studio practiced what it preached and created a space where practitioners feel welcome, taken care of and care about. Unfortunately, I’m going to try somewhere else next time.

Beautiful place but don't go there! Hammocks hooked on same spot, very restrictive! Hammocks smelt so bad!! Reformer class in same room and same time!!! The teacher didn't put her cellphone off. It rung twice, she checked it during the class. she was not kind, no safety cues, no progression, pissed off when people felt in doing pose,.... What the hell is it??? It was such a bad experience!!!

Come here for great capable teachers but don't expect to have your form modified if you are a beginner. Conversely, if you are advanced in your yoga or pilates practice you will not be challenged - the classes are very middle of the road and geared towards "all levels" in order to pack as many people in so they can make the most bang for your buck.
And don't expect any frills - no mats or towels unless you rent them, no cups for water, tea and snacks are available at Starbucks prices.
I was told the original owners who were well practiced in yoga, pilates and spiritual teaching and meditation are no longer there. The studio looks the same but it is void of any authenticity and the attitude that is projected leaves a lot to be desired.
