Only had half a day to spend here and even that was worth it. Could have spent all day on Long Beach alone. Lots of marked trails, but most of them are easy loops. Those who feel hardy enough could probably do them all in a day. (Note that you likely need to cycle or drive between the different trail entry points, as the highway cuts through the Park.) If you're short on time, a visit to the beach and the Rainforest loop is good way to get the highlights.

I walked here twice with a couple of dogs. It was a stunning location and really beautiful in the evening because of the sunset views. I can recommend it.

3 of us had a pleasant walk around the island. The concession stand was closed but we knew beforehand that it would be. We had to wait for 3 ferries before we got off the island. The wait on the dock was fine since the weather was nice.

Beacon Hill Park in Victoria is a gem. There's many paths and things to explore in the park. The kids was really enjoyed by my youngsters, we went there two days. The locals were kind and friendly. The public washrooms were pretty clean, surprising from my experiences elsewhere in big cities. Ample parking in the park. Many events happen here so consult before going to see if something tickles your fancy. For a free thing to do that is really worth seeing, Beacon Hill Park is definitely a place to check out!!

You will never tire of the views of Chesterman Beach, or the experience of walking along it. This is one of Canada's gems. It has inspired countless artists.

A beautiful area to walk around and enjoy the water view, the shops and cafes and restaurants. At night in the winter the lights decorating the buildings is so pretty. Dress warmly.

Just got back from a week long camping trip at Ralph River Campground with my wife and our two grown children. What a beautiful place. We were blessed with great weather and spent the week hiking, swimming, fishing, and just generally recharging.

Ralph River Campground was in great condition and the young man from the Parks Operator that came around was most pleasant to talk to. He seemed like a hard working young man and seemed very knowledgeable and informative about the area. He was even able to suggest a few short hikes for my elderly wife and myself.

My only complaint and it is quite trivial is that in all the outhouses the toilet paper was hung backwards. For most people this wouldn't be a big deal but I lost an arm in an industrial accident and so it is very difficult for me when the paper gets stuck on the backside of the roll.

All in all a most enjoyable trip and we will be back.

I absolutely love this park. It unfortunately was to muddy to climb the rocks and get off the trail. There was plenty of benches to sit on and take in the view.

We went see their Christmas light display. It is expensive but it was the best we have ever seen. The displays were quite original and it must have taken thousands of hours to put them together. If you ever in Victoria and like Christmas light you should take time to visit here.
The hot chocolate is really good too.

Killer ocean views with miles of walking trails amongst majestic big trees. Heavyly used park in alsorts of weather. It is now my favorite walking spot on the island

My family and I had a lovely time at the Sooke Potholes Provincial Park. We enjoyed the relatively easy walk to get around, everything was clean, including the washrooms. We parked in lot #2 and walked around, took our time, skipped some rocks and took in the wildlife. We did not pay for parking, but I've seen elsewhere that people do pay. Beautiful sights and sounds will greet you here. I highly recommend a visit if you are on Vancouver Island!

This is a lovely lake and trail within the city. The trail is well used and easy to navigate. The water was clean and great for swimming and there was a dock you could swim it to. I saw 2 beaches I believe.

Seeing it in person, is better than any picture. To touch and feel the bark, to see the tree branches. You can't see the top. The path leads to other beautiful trees on along the way. Must be so much more alive in the spring. Seeing the breaches covered with snow was pretty amazing too.
