What travelers are saying
- Karen BHerne Bay, UK135 contributionsThis is a fairly small park so doesn’t overwhelm small children. Our 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed looking at the animals. We understand that in wildlife parks the animals are sometimes asleep or hiding but we managed to see most of the ones in this park which was great. There was a small train to ride on and the park has numerous benches around the whole park which was appreciated by our heavily pregnant daughter! We also finished the cafe where the food was hot and was reasonably priced.Written June 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Karen BHerne Bay, UK135 contributionsWe were only able to visit for a short time and we spent it all at the water park area. It was a hot day and our 2 year old granddaughter loved running around under all the water jets, it was a popular place on the day we visited but there was plenty of parking available very close to this area.Written June 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - thomam00Incourt, Belgium18 contributionsNice spot and premises, beautiful environment, and very good wine tasting. They can make wines here ! Far more original and taste-rich than renowned wineries in Okanagan Valley. Congrats !

Lawn bowling, skate park, little league and bantam baseball fields.Written July 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - calgaryguyKelowna, Canada476 contributionsWe hiked in two different parts of the park and really enjoyed. One hike. the Tower Trail, was quite steep in part but worth the climb. The other trail, Sage, was less challenging but also enjoyable. Plenty of people out but is was not crowded. Kamloops is lucky to have this park.Written August 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KRAMA200Seattle, WA1,143 contributionsA beautiful trail in Kamloop on the side Of Thomson River. It starts from Riverside Park and is beautifully maintained. It offers beautiful views and we liked itWritten July 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Donovan MRegina, Canada13 contributionsTravelers should be aware that admission to this museum is cash or debit only, no credit cards. The indoor exhibit goes into quite a lot of detail about the Kamploops Indian Residential School. But there is also information about all of the bands of the Secwépemc land. Be sure to take time to wander the outdoor trails to learn about pithouses. There is much history, and much spirituality if a person stops to listen. Respect notices when there are bears in the area.Written December 2, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - okmurraysVancouver Island, Canada87 contributionsLove Privato! The tasting room staff are helpful and knowledgeable and make you feel welcome from when you step in the door.
We went for Halloween too and the Pumpkin Patch was super cute. I love their wine so much I joined the Wine Club. Due to health reasons I can’t drive at present and Ashley kindly arranged for Victoria to drop off my case.

I shared with Shelley that my now husband and I visited back in 2015 and that I had written the very first trip advisor review!
It was wonderful to see that things haven’t changed - intimate tasting room, great wine, and family is still such a central part of the Sagewood story.
Can’t wait to come back soon (We definitely will not wait another 7 years!! The campsite pitches were like all other BC parks - well spaced and in very wooded areas. There are no showers here, so in an RV with onboard facilities that’s ok.
There is a straightforward board at the entrance with your name on if you’ve pre-booked or the option to self register as walk in.
It was a bit disappointing that the sani station required payment, but we’ve since identified that it’s pretty standard in most BC park campsites.
The one great thing about this site is that you may be driving through the desert around Kamloops wondering what Paul Lake is going to be like, do not fear though, it’s a forest! Beautifully quiet and relaxed. Completely different from the Kamloops area!Written June 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Science experiments were all very hands on and interactive and fun!! Would definitely come again.Written July 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lela t47 contributionsThis was a really bright, clean, and happy little museum. It didn't have a lot of stuff but it was a nice snapshot of the history of Kamloops. There was also very friendly staff.Written July 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
