It was nice to see this garden. It was peaceful, nicely laid out and compact. It had a great view of Henderson Lake. There was quite a bit of construction around the gardens - so a bit confusing to navigate entering the area. Since it is in the Japanese style - please be aware that the emphasis will be on textures, shapes, and sounds of the water rather than having a constant display of flowers/colours. Unless you are going for a particular event, such as the tea ceremony, you will need less than an hour to tour the gardens

A beautiful location in the middle of Lethbridge nestled beside the Japanese gardens. A good place to come for a picnic, a walk or to just relax.

A lovely park but don't expect too much of a history lesson. Walking trails wind through this well laid out area and provide individuals with a beautiful perspective of the area. It would be nice if there were more information plaques to read along the way.

We visited in the afternoon on a Friday. Due to the pandemic, you must book a tour, but they let you 'be a pioneer' of sorts while on the tour. The wagon ride was excellent and enjoyable.

Lethbridge is a bit of a surprise and this little museum, even in COVID days, has a lot to offer about the history of Lethbridge

My husband I went to see CELEBRATE 30 years on Weds Dec 18, 2019 and I loved it so much I want to go see the production again next week with our son who will be visiting from Toronto. This comedic musical tour down memory lane was a great way to kick off the holiday season. The Yates Theatre has been beautifully renovated. It was our 4th visit in 7 years and every time we go I wonder why we don't have Season passes! The CELEBRATE show was clearly a labour of love by the dedicated directors and cast of this theatre group. I have seen shows in Montreal, New York, Stratford and Niagara on the Lake ON and New West is impressive by all standards. There is so much talent but I was especially wowed by Rylan Kunkel. His performance on the saxophone was so entertaining and only surpassed by his piano solo which was incredibly special.

Coming from northern Sakatchewan this place has made me appreciate the clear clean lakes back home. This could be a nice facility if the water was nicer, beach was sand and not packing gravel or some sort of functioning shower to wash off after swimming is suspect water. There is a shower in place but doesn't appear to have been in working order for some years. Had the kids duck under the foot wash everytime they came out of the lake.
Not ideal place for tents as the area is crawling with ants, thankfully not red ants.
I've seen numerous children and adults almost bust ankles stepping or running into gopher holes.
Woke up at night to what I thought was a gopher eating my dogs food only to unzip the tent and see a skunk 2 feet away. This is our second time here and I had forgot about the local skunk population.
Depending on which way the wind is blowing you either get a nose full of outhouse or feedlot.
Park crew comes through early in the morning on a UTV that is in bad need of a muffler and proceeds to fire up a septic pump to drain the outhouses. Conviently about the same time you are trying to eat breakfast. Usually by Day 2 this isn't such a big deal as you've become accustomed to breathing solely out of your mouth.
Surprised this place is as busy as it is but I guess when this is all you got you make do. Fortunately for me this place isn't my only option.

Nice setting and offers many information sessions relevant to the area. Something for all ages. A local naturalist offered the session we attended and it was very informative.

A great place to go with my family to let our dog burn off his energy. Sometimes a bit smelly as the water treatment plant is very close, but hey, it's part of the Lethbridge experience!

I was really impressed with my last visit to Nicholas Sheran Park.
Parks staff have solved the problem of improper sprinkler placement, and as a result, there were a lot less dead spots in the grassy areas as compared to about a year ago

The water doesn't stink like Henderson Lake, and overall cleanliness in the park is excellent. The addition of more trees, with maturing sour cherry and apple trees is a wonderful addition. This is truly a green area to enjoy.

Love walking through the wetlands, and the food the docks. My husband and I work and live nearby. The Elizabeth Hall wetlands never disappoint. We have seen muskrat, beavers, turtles, amongst other wildlife there! It also connects to the walking paths in the coulees. Would absolutely recommend The Elizabeth Hall Wetlands!

Attended the teddy bear toss game against Medicine Hat and the facility was almost sold out. Great Hockey arena with quite a bit of space to move around the facility. No huge lines for bathrooms or concessions. The one area of opportunity was parking, almost as bad as a flames game. I'm sure they good do much better in this aspect.

We came from a meeting and wanted a quick refreshing snack and drink. Since we had our dog we found Theoretically Brewing Co which is dog friendly. They serve beer (as they are a brewery) but also had nicely chilled waters served in chemistry half liter glasses. The whole place has a chemistry and science theme. Our dog also got a water. The server was very friendly and helpful. The food is limited to snacks that they make on site due to regulatory reasons. Very tasty were a large pretzel and goat cheese on crostinis. I am not a fan of tomato but they also had tomato skewers with Bocconcini cheese. Overall a nice visit. This would be a great place to hang out on the patio on a nice warm day.

There's lots of deer dorm here ( I saw mule deer, but there are whitetails too. The walk from the parking lot to the river is quite long, but interesting
