Stephen Avenue had many lively restaurants and expensive stores. It was only open to pedestrians.i saw many live shows, and it was packed due to the Stampede. There was an indoor mall right next to it.

This was a nice market to visit. It has lots of ready to eat food vendors, many produce vendors and several arts and crafts vendors. I was expecting more produce vendors. It is all indoors which is nice on those dreary days.

I would go back to it.

While this shopping centre is more famous for being a high-end Mecca for shoppers, there are still lots of services for us ordinary folk. I had some banking to do and the mall was quite handy for that. I've always like the food court, but now with COVID it's more complicated - thank goodness I wasn't in the market for lunch. One of the best things that happened recently was the addition of the enclosed pedestrian crossing over Macleod Trail, providing an easy link to the big box stores on the other side, as well to the Chinook LRT station. There's a lot of pedestrian traffic in between the station and the mall, and the beautiful bridge that spans Macleod Trail provides comfort and safety to people on foot, and better traffic movement for cars.

Love this mall, you have a couple of different restaurants, really nice shops as well. On the 4th floor is a garden you can visit for free. The toilets are very clean, there is free wifi. I really enjoyed visiting it.

While this is not my favourite mall in Calgary really it has everything you need. Good stores and cafeteria. Location is good if you are in the north west.

This is our go-to mall. It’s easy to get around and even though several stores have closed down, newer ones have moved in including some high end shops. The food court has good selections but there are other family restaurants too. What was nice to see this year was the centre all decorated for various special events including Halloween! Parking is easy and available all around the various entrances.

Free parking is available downtown behind the museum for your visit to the Esker Foundation, and you can call and ask for a guided tour. The museum isn't large but combine your short visit at Esker with another activity in the heart of downtown Calgary. I am taking the Calgary Women's Walking and Friendship Group, a Meetup.com group.

Took my rifle in to Eddy the gun smith for a repair. He had it fixed and back to me the same day. Awesome service, got me back into the bush allowing me to continue my hunting season.

Did not know about this place until I saw an event notice on FB. What I thought was a “market” event was actually an indoor farmers market. Lots of selection of fruits, veggies, sweets, and meats. Can also have a dinner and eat outside on one of the picnic tables provided. A nice way to spend an hour in the evening.

Marda Loop has continued to develop even more shops, restaurants, high-end grocery stores, etc., and it's well worth for visitors and Calgary residents who have not been there recently to head over and see. There's a BIG selection of eateries, it would take weeks to try to them all, and lots of little boutiques as well. Architecture buffs have lots of eye-candy here, and in the surrounding residential communities too. While not a pedestrian zone, it is a very pedestrian-friendly area. If you're coming, don't miss out on the zone around the Safeway store on the west side near Crowchild Trail, as there are more cafes and shops there too. There's a good amount of off-street parking in the various lots attached to businesses.

With all the construction over, the dust has finally settled. The new wing is great! The mall was a bit short on sit-down coffee shops lately, with Starbucks pulling out. On my most recent visit, I noticed the old Starbucks location which has been closed for a while, as there's a drive-through at the parking lot of the Superstore across the road, is now occupied. A Good Earth is there, a great place for coffee and food.

I have been trying to have the Tripadivsor location of this very good art museum changed for a number of years, but have been ignored. I've seen this on other attractions, so the lesson is: DO NOT rely on this travel web site to search for attractions in places that your are visiting. The actual location of the gallery is excellent. If you're okay with paying for outrageous Downtown Calgary parking prices, there are many options, but it's not far from the fabulous Ctrain system. Staff are really friendly and helpful here, and there's always something interesting to experience - they even have movie series they screen in the old Planetarium dome area. The indoor spaces are stunning, so it's a win win for any visitor or Calgary resident to experience. JUST DON'T RELY ON TRIPADVISOR for mapping info - it can be hit and miss, and they have been missing this for years despite repeated efforts to change it.
