Roam Public Transit Service

The kids especially loved jumping on the different buses.
I don't recommend staying in town due to rowdy college kids and chatty tourists making noise at all hours of the night.
Banff Gondola

Something for everyone including a gift shop, coffee shop, kids learning area, 360 indoors viewing area, hiking and stairs for even more breathtaking views, highly recommended!
Well worth the ticket price ($59 per adult), the views are stunning and the walks around the mountain when you reach the summit are very easy and child friendly.

This wide, even-surface, technically easy hike to the Tunnel Mountain summit requires a bit of cardio fitness, but we saw very young kids hiking it.
