Stunning architecture located in the city centre, pink in colour, reminded me of a wedding cake. This iconic symbol is perfectly suited for this incredible, beautiful city. A must see day or night.

This huge museum quality art gallery is great for walking around, having a snack and taking in the beautiful art. You will be tempted to send something home if on vacation!

This is a magical place, you will hear the Mariachis singing and playing beautiful songs, people dancing, really nice vibes. During the weekends is soooooo crowded, I recommend to visit The Jardin during the week, is more quiet but really beautiful.

Amazing service and amazing artwork! My husband and I were casually walking by San Miguel when we stumbled upon this boutique art gallery. We were so blown away by an “Eclipse Set” that would go perfectly in our dining room that we stopped to ask for info. We weren’t looking to buy it initially, since we live in Belgium and thought bringing it would be super costly and painful. However, it took them less than a day to have a full quote for the shipping, and the process was very quick from there. The artwork arrived very well wrapped and in perfect condition! Since the time we made the order to when we had the artwork at our house it was only 3 weeks, with New Year in the middle. I am overall super satisfied and glad we made the purchase! We would have never found anything similar elsewhere.

This is the place for the finest representation of quality Mexican folk art. Pieces from many regions of Mexico represent indigenous peoples industrious talents are passed down from centuries ( in many cases) and offer a high level refinement. The selection is vast and the prices are extremely fair. Pottery, textiles, metalworking and sculpture are well represented as well as “vintage” folk art.
Purchases help in providing these indigenous remote artists a way to exist while carrying on with their craft. Make sure to visit if you are seaking a better than average selection of art.

A private tour with one of the artists. This site is so amazing, only open from 10-12. Incredible story of art, love, passion and obsession. Excellent side trip from San Miguel. It will make you happy and sad, the energy of the place will put a glow into your heart that you take home with you.

We made the walk up to the park twice during our stay on Correo. Beautiful walk up and the park is great to visit for a nature hike. If your a runner, nice flat place to run.

A beautiful park, filled with pathways to walk and benches to relax. Lots of plants and greenery, as well as several vendors and artists with very colorful and unique works... Worth a visit, day or night.. I felt completely safe doing my power walk in the cool night air.

The knowledge and mild humor of the guide made this trip a top experience. We’ve been fortunate to explore many indigenous ruins throughout Mesoamerica. Each ruin is distinctive, and each has something to share with visitors. Our guide’s archaeological knowledge and clear communication style made this trip special. He was able to link this ruin with other ruins, in a way that enhanced our understanding of previous experiences.

Bill's lifetime of collecting has resulted in an amazing retrospective of indigenous masks and ceremonial use. With more than 600 examples, it is quite impressive. His personal stories make it even more accessible. Be sure to watch the video of the mask ceremonies! It's a must see on any trip to San Miguel de Allende.

Sazon is worth the visit!! Ruben is amazing. He completely understood our dietary restrictions, walked us through the market and showed us how to pick the best veggies for what we were making, and spoke with us the entire time. When we got back to the cooking school, we did the work. Ruben showed us, but we did the majority of the prep work with direction and skill from him. It was so much fun. We spoke with him, we laughed, the smells of the cooking food were incredible. Then we ate the finished product and it was delicious! My husband is usually limited to boiling water and microwaving, but he had a great time. Said it was a highlight of our trip to San Miguel. You should definitely do this experience!!

There's a reason they call this the Sistine Chapel of Mexico and the history is as interesting as the paintings. It is still a place of worship for the Mexicans, many or whom travel to visit here. Sundays are especially crowded both at the Santurario and in the small village with vendor stands set up on both sides of the Main Street.
