The team at AllTourNative was amazing! We did the Cenote/Tulum combination tour. Cèsar, our driver for the day, did a great job with transportation, entertained us with a full Queen playlist, and kept the van AC blasting. Our first stop was the Jungle Maya and the Cenotes. Incredible. Alex guided us with respect through the Mayan customs, taught us so much about the things we were experiencing, and kept us entertained with his great sense of humor. We zip lined, sawn through caves, and had a blast. The cenotes were cool and refreshing. After a delicious lunch we were off to visit the ruins of Tulum. Pedro, an expert on the history and culture, lead us through the sites and shared his knowledge with us.
Then, back to the van for a safe and speedy ride back to our resorts (keep in mind, others on your tour are from other hotels, so the ride may be a little longer than you expect)
If you’re considering this excursion, we absolutely recommend it whole heartedly!
Our tips for you:
-wear water shoes for the whole Cenote experience.
-wear a comfortable bathing suit and embrace being wet the whole Cenote experience. There is a chance to shower and change between the two sites, but we didn’t bother. We sweated so much at Tulum it wouldn’t have mattered.
-no sunscreen/bug spray in the Cenotes so wear a sun shirt (or at least a t-shirt).
-it’s HOT at Tulum (we visited in May from 2-4 pm).
-remember that there are multiple guides and multiple team members (bring enough cash to tip accordingly! These guys certainly earn it!)
-make friends with the others on your tour, you can learn a lot about the world!
