- RockyrideCalgary, Canada66 contributionsBooked this as part of a day trip to Cozumel with family. Overall it was a good trip, snorkeled the reefs as expected. Gave 4 stars as the boat is relatively small and not much storage, so you couldnt move about and get your stuff once moving. Also didn't provide/use use fins at all, so you couldn't swim around and see much other than drifting along. But the ceviche was good and there were rays at the final beach, so a win overall. The boat was expertly driven and the food and drink was delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better day. - Brandy M2 contributionsThis was a great experience. There was a little bit of chaos when we arrived because of a group that was leaving at the same time as us. Once that got sorted, our money was collected and we were directed to a small boat. (not the boat in the picture on the website, but fine). We had 14 people in our group, the boat capacity was 16, so definitely full. Geo and Jesus were our guide and captain for the day and they were pretty awesome and fun. We had a great day doing exactly what they said we'd do. Went to three different snorkel areas, stopped at the end near a sand bar where the water was waist deep and saw stingrays! while we ate a snack of fresh made guacamole, chips and pineapple. Plenty of water, soda and beer to drink. Saw lots of fish, 2 turtles, lobsters, stingrays,....
Bring a 50spf swim shirt if you get burned easily. You will not be able to bring or apply sunscreen once you get on the boat. - Karen J1 contributionThis excursion was the best experience we had while in Cozumel. A novice snorkeler, I got to see a many colorful fish, a turtle, lobster, nurse shark, starfish, barracuda, and standing on a sandbar several large stingrays up close. Jose and his crew were great and made us all feel safe and not rushed. There were about 15 total people on the boat, which is a great number. I highly recommend. - Alex BPeachtree Corners, GA14 contributionsCarlos and Oscar were the best. La Casita was a great boat and perfect for the 4 of us - 2 couples - on a beautiful day. The winds shut down the south side of the island but the crew explained and came up with a different plan and we loved it. We did two off shore dives then a ride to the northside and chilled at Passion Island where we enjoyed fresh ceviche, fruit and chips. Along the way, we sipped on rum runners and cervesas with great music and great crew. - Wayne R1 contributionWonderful trip! Alan and Gustavo were great guides. Got to see lots of marine life on the reefs including a nurse sharks eels and lobsters. Many starfish in the sand at el cielo, and when we stopped for drinks we had dozens of stingrays swimming around us in waist high water! - Beth GOcala, FL3 contributionsWe took an excursion from MSC Seashore. Beach Bash, snorkel, tequila tasting and more. Our guides Flower and Alejandro were the best! They kept us organized and well informed. They made sure we took advantage of everything our tour included and gathered us up at the appropriate times so we didn't miss a thing. We arrived and received our instructions and they showed us where everything was located that we had access to. We had a 2 hour lunch buffet and open bar! The beach was ok but a little rocky for our taste. There were 3 pools we had access to also. Restrooms, changing rooms, chairs and umbrellas on the beach, snorkeling equipment and guided snorkel session. We were shown how to make authentic guacamole and tasted it. We had a tequila tasting as well. They extended our excursion an hour to allow for transportation time to the beach so we got the max time to enjoy ourselves. This was an unexpected pleasure.
