What travelers are saying
- parrottdizeDyer, IN2,418 contributionsWhile I have been to Cozumel a number of times (land vacations) this was the first time coming here as part of a cruise itinerary. Even with just 2 ships, the port was busy. There are many places to eat or buy souvenirs. You don't have to leave the port if you just want to shopping.
We walked around the port area and then went outside the port to the street area. The vendors by the street were more aggressive in trying to sell there wares........If you have been to Mexico before this won't bother you, however if this is your first time there don't freak out (just say no thank you and keep walking).Written April 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 826TravelerChicago, IL40 contributionsGalo spent an hour with us, talking about his art, particular paintings and his trips. Based on our liking a specific themed painting, he took put about 10 similar themed paintings that were not readily visible and we bought one of those paintings. We love it and working with Galo was a pleasure. He is a very talented artist. If you like art, it is worth the long walk from the center of town to his shop.Written October 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Regina R1 contributionCustomer Service was great but the bangle lost a diamond within 2 months. However, CS to repair was quick and efficient.Written April 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ItsDeltaDownBristol, VA150 contributionsStopped through here while downtown from a cruise ship. Used to the vendors trying to get you to go in their stores, so that's no big deal. BUT....not cool when they follow you to the end of the plaza confetti (it's a dead end and you have to walk back through). We ended up just walking to the end and back since the creepy guy was following us.Written May 18, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andy N23 contributionsHave come here all 5 times I've visited Cozumel. They started with a cart on the main square but now have a full sized store!
They have a painted feather(s) for anyone! We have bought around 20 of them and love giving them as gifts. Our 4 year old even picked one out for her room.Written September 13, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RedheadedlassMorgantown, WV554 contributionsIt was so relaxing to just shop there. You can take your time - there's so much to see! I actually went 2 times and purchased a bracelet, opal ring, and earrings. The quality is very good, made in-house, and prices were unbeatable for that quality. The service was the best. Really enjoyed talking to the owners. Even suggested a great coffee shop. And my husband couldn't believe it, but I asked to have our pic taken for the wall. I hate taking pictures, I haven't let anyone take my pic in maybe 2 years. That's the only pic of me on Cozumel. I will be checking out their website, now that's back in the US.Written October 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dlking0410New York City, NY48 contributionsI love Cinco Soles in Cozumel and always stop there whenever I'm on the island. This time I bought 2 elegant tops, a tee shirt, some vanilla and candy and had a lovely time just looking at all the beautiful pottery, clothing, jewelry and art. It was a nice walk from the cruise terminal, maybe a couple of miles, but worth it. Cinco Soles is a lovely shopping experience without any hard sell tactics. The staff are all very helpful and personable. They will answer any questions and help you find things, but will leave you alone to shop. They accept both cash and credit cards.Written October 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
