Frank was an amazing tour guide, great attitude and provided amazing information and made sure we stayed safe. The cenote in Chichikan is something that is breath taking and such a refreshing and beautiful water experience, my favorite part of the trip. I loved it so much and then the cherry on top is Chichnitza to view one of the Mayan’s masterpieces in person is something else. Nothing is impossible with our people and I love knowing that about the Mayan culture. Hugo our driver was great keeping us safe, would highly recommend this tour if you want to get the best experience of Chichikan and Chichnitza. Thanks again for giving my family a memory they will cherish forever.

Tony and Lallo were hands-down the best tour guide and driver we’ve ever had—and we’ve traveled to over 15 countries! This experience made Mexico our new favorite destination, even surpassing Dubai and Italy. The tour itself was incredible, but it was their warmth, knowledge, and hospitality that truly made it unforgettable. I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation—10/10. I’d gladly take this same tour again and again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 😊 🙏 💓

Water was choppy but staff was great. Boat could use a little maintenance. Ceviche and guacamole were delicious. Photographer was fun. They also set up transportation to and from the hotel.

This was an excellent trip from start to finish. The guide picked us up at our hotel in Tulum. We were 2 young women and felt perfectly comfortable. It was a small group, an Italian family with a small child, 3 college students, and my friend and I. The guide perfectly translated in both English and Italian while giving details about the Mayan ruins, then we headed to snorkel within thr same park as the ruins.

Before arriving at the park with Mayan ruins is your only chance to apply sunblock until after snorkeling, so bring a long sleeve swim shirt if you are concerned about burning. Also, you can’t bring any plastic into the park, so bring a reusable water bottle, not plastic.

After snorkeling, where we saw 4 turtles, beautiful coral, and rays, we left the park to get back in the van with the guide and drove to a cenote.

The cenote was excellent, with cold water and great stalagmites etc. Water shoes weren’t necessary, as they keep your shoes in a box for you to retrieve after swimming. There were bats in the cave, which were small and quiet. We also saw a Motmot bird in the cenote—a bird that lives in the cenotes and was sacred to the Mayans, as our guide told us. He said he’d never seen the motmot in this particular cenote before.

They had a small gift shop at the cenote visiting area, with tequila and honey samples. Our trip included an included lunch of tacos, offering veggie, chicken, and pork. Super delicious.

They do have a photographer take pictures of the group from snorkeling through the cenote parts of the tour, if you’d like to purchase them for around $55-65 USD (prices varied per size of your group/cash or card).

Excellent tour!! Would recommend to anyone looking to fit in a variety of experiences/sights into a short trip.

This was a very well organized tour. I was initially concerned that we would have to line up at Chichen Itza to pay the foreigner fees of 40USD. However, Rey collected this while on the bus for us. Those who already paid online just needed to show the receipt. This helped us skip the lines, and saved a lot of time.
We enjoyed the cenote. The food was great and safe. I am vegan, and there were options for me that were tasty and healthy.
Highly recommended this tour. Well worth it.

We booked the trip for two adults and two children (ages 6 and 8) at a 50% discount. As others have mentioned, it was worth that price—I don’t think I would pay full price. The catamaran was very spacious, with plenty of seating both in the open air and shaded areas. There were about 70 people on board, and even at full capacity (100 people), there would still be ample space.

The open bar had plenty of alcohol for those who enjoy day drinking, and we were taken to a buffet on the island. The buffet was quite average, but that was expected given the price. However, the location was fantastic, as we were right on the beach.

One downside was that the itinerary description on TripAdvisor seemed inaccurate, as it listed more beaches than we actually visited. Still, at this price, the trip was a great deal—it included transportation, the catamaran ride, drinks, and food. I would definitely go again for the discounted rate.

Wonderful experience and guides! Explanations of history and Mayan culture outstanding. Communication concerning transportation details was less than ideal, due to third party vendors?

This is our second time at X-plor Park, amazing as usual with a big touch this time, the toboganxote! First time as members of Xcaret family, however I will make an observation to "el troglodita" restaurant there were those black birds having so much fun eating freely at some of the bars such as salad, fruits, rice with NO ONE of the staff members taking care of. We always promote the healthy, spotless Xcaret group but I think something must change about this matter, unless Xcaret group is taking care of those birds same as Makaws.

I don’t understand why I was picked up at 10am when the park opens at 8:30am. The park is pricey, especially when you are encouraged to buy/schedule additions activities and I would have appreciated to be there when the park opened to get my moneys worth.

That said, Xcaret was amazing…. Beyond amazing …Expensive, but worth it.

We purchase the dolphins tour and the “scuba” one and these activities where beyond amazing. I do not have pictures of the dolphins activity bcz the pictures where stupid expensive. I did want to buy a picture, but I forgot to go back at the end of the day.

Xcaret was beautiful and the show at night was mind blowing.

I would go back again a 1000 times, but maybe on my own so that I arriuwhen rje park opens.

Abbi N. is a great guide. He is knowledgeable and very friendly. Like other trips, it is good to understand that peso to dollar conversion rates vary and there are additional fees on top of the initial trip cost.

Tulum is amazing and it was good to see it again after 20+ years. Juan More at Cenote Playa Maya had some of the best burgers and tacos our family has ever had. The water was refreshing and ~70-75°F in mid-March.

The time for pick up was not clear. We were at the front desk for something else and heard soneone calling our name. It was 1.5 hour before the pick up time. We were lucky to be there or would have missed the tour. The tour was good and the staff was very nuce and friendly. They said that I couldnt snorkel bcoz their age limit is 10-60 only. This wasnt told to us ahead of time and I was disappointed. Over all the tour was fine!

We enjoyed the tour, however, being harassed by so many vendors trying to sell their merchandise took away so much of the experience. The bus ride was comfortable and the guide was awesome. We just would've had a better time if we could focus more on what and why we were there and not having to avoid the very aggressive sellers.

We had a fabulous relaxing day for it to be slightly spoilt by being left feeling intimidated about leaving a 10 USD tip per passenger (we were a group of 4) we only had 11 USD and gladly offered that to then be asked to pay the rest by credit card.. to which I declined!!.
A tip is to the customers discretion, particularly when the price of the trip exceeded our holiday budget.
