The blues in the crystal clear water are incomparable and the area is clean, well kept, with lots of room and shade!! There’s a beautiful Look-out and playground. They charge to use the washrooms. The waves can be pretty serious here. - Celia43 contributionsBeautiful beach, clean and clear water. Very warm, with waves you can get out of the wind and swim in calm water over by the breakwater. Sand was a bit dirty with rubbish. Otherwise lots of people enjoying the beach, quite a lot of space available, we were there on a Sunday. - RogiDSan Antonio, TX49 contributionsGreat beach. It is directly behind Coco Bongo night club. There is a small access road next to Coco Bongo that leads to the beach. Blue clear waters. No amenities/chairs/umbrellas, etc. Worth visiting. There are some nice rocks/boulders that make for great pictures above the water. Take a few water bottles and pack some snacks if you plan to stay there long. - Harvey CCalgary58 contributionsPerhaps since it was new years day, it wasn't as busy as it might normally be, but all in all we had an amazing experience there today. We weren't staying at the hotel, so upon entry, you need to stop at the concierge and give them your ID, which they keep a copy of, and give you a wristband. If you want to use a daybed, there is a $600 MX minimum spend per person (~$30.00 USD), which is an incredible deal. If you want a daybed like this in a Vegas or Miami dayclub, you're literally paying hundreds or thousands of USD as a minimum. Drinks and food are super reasonable and the server was friendly and efficient. We only had a couple drinks each so hadn't met the $60.00 minimum for the 2 of us, which I wasn't concerned about but the server insisted we get our moneys worth and insisted on bringing us more drinks, sealed bottles of water, or food to get the full value. They have small palm trees canopy for you to set up and relax with your pup. You can bring them to the water with no problem and Not heavy weaves. Parking, Bathroom and shower for humans on site.
