We did the training first, which was really good.
Later to the sea for the real deal.
Everyone very professional and you can see they are quite experienced and well trained to deal with beginners.
We were divided by groups to go down. This takes a bit of time, as some people are faster than others.
Once underwater, the feeling is amazing and we enjoyed the experience.
We saw several fish and a sea turtle.
The reason it's not a 5 stars experience is that at the end, if you want to buy the pictures the price is ridiculous high. Almost 100usd for the pictures. It felt like a scam. Of course is optional, but come on guys....not even Disney charge as much as that.

- Chris M1 contributionMy family had an excellent experience surfing with 360 surf school. My two boys ages 9 and 11 as well as my wife and sister in law all were able to stand up and surf a ton of waves. The instructors were patient and very helpful. Nobody wanted to quit when the time was up. This was our second experience with surf lessons. The beach where they surfed has to be one of the friendliest safest places to learn to surf. Ruben, Johnny, Josè and Guero took a group (11 of us) out to a shallow but beautiful reef—it was exquisite and they made us feel safe!!! We highly recommend to a family for a fun experience! - BrianaFlourtown, PA8 contributionsDefinitely one of the best excursions we did while in Cancun! Soooo much fun. We booked the jet skis for an hour. Same day booking. There was sooooo much open water and such a big area to jet ski with no worries. The pictures and videos taken of my boyfriend and I were so nice. We will definitely be back if we vacation in cancun again. They worked so hard to make sure everyone had a good sighting in the water. Neither of us had ever SUP before, but both my self and dad (68 years) felt completely at ease, and we both enjoyed every moment. We loved it so much that we’ve already booked another session.
If you're looking for a fun and relaxing start to your day, this is the perfect choice.

We were able to go on the same boat and each had an amazing experience. Juan and Alejandro were fantastic guides, and helped us spot sea turtles! On the way from the airport to Tulum, which is kind of long, they stopped at a market so we could buy somethings to eat and drink. - Sue S2 contributionsWe absolutely loved our experience with Sailboat Cancun. Our four hour sail was simply magical in every way. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room to move around the boat. They customized the kind of sail that we were interested in and met all of our requests. Manny was very engaging and we enjoyed his stories. He answered all of our questions about his experiences on the sailboat. She is a beauty. We spent 5 days in Cancun and our four hours sailing was the highlight. We highly recommend this. We were supposed to go wreck diving the first day but the agent who booked us didnt know wreck diving was in the morning so my husband and i ended up diving with another diver who's getting his OW cert. I was hesitant at first but we decided to just go since we just really really want to dive. We ended up having so much fun. Saw some baby sharks, baby turtles and baby sting rays. We had so much good vibes, we decided to dive with the same student and Flo the next day. Looking forward to diving with the same company on our next trip in Cancun. - Gwendolyn V9 contributionsLots of extreme reviews out there, let me be an honest voice. This tour is okay. It's not cheap and while there's a lot of stuff "included," the best way to describe the tour is "watered down."
We booked this tour from our hotel last minute (recommend doing your research) to avoid having to piece together a trip to Isla Mujeres... which we probably should have done. *note* you have to pay another fee at the dock, so add that into your budget.
On this tour we got: a catamaran trip, a short snorkeling excursion (maybe 30 minutes in the water to see 3-4 underwater museum statues), during which you're being rushed to get off the boat and to follow the guide, a below-average buffet, and a below-average beach.
The "open bar" which means they bring drinks around on trays but I think all but the beer is watered way down. I'm a lightweight and didn't even get a buzz after a few drinks. Honestly, I get it, cause people get wild on the water with alcohol in their systems. Some drunk guys jumped off of our boat as we were docking. Dangerous.
After the snorkeling, they take you to a crowded beach calling it "the most beautiful beach in the world" (????) there were prettier beaches in Cancun. You can try tequila for free, but they want you to buy it. Lots of salesmen. You stay there for an hour and then get on the boat again to the buffet and "beach club." On the way, the crew tries to sell you a golf cart excursion for $50 (sounded very expensive based on my research so we didn't go for it.)
The buffet food is not good. It's hard to mess up Mexican food, and somehow they did. Some of the worst food I've ever paid for. Also very crowded. The beach club was okay. They have seaside bed things for you to rest on, but the water isn't very pretty and it's a small swimming area. We tried to go out of the small complex to rent our own golf cart for cheaper but the beach club is located in an area way far away from everything, so basically you're trapped there until the golf cart people get back.
The actual boat ride is enjoyable and the crew was good. Everything else left you with more to be desired. In this adventure the only adventure was the scooter. Other wise we saw 6 big fish and a turtle. They were more focused on taking our pictures and we didnt get to explore. I was sea sick from the boat on way back to land. The staff were nice enough.
