In my travels, I always try to utilize public transport. Been to quite a few world cities, and riding CDMX's subway was a rather unpleasant experience. The trains are BEYOND packed. (Even outside of rush hour). Carriages aren't necessarily air-conditioned, so there's the element of sweaty bodies pressed against each other. It sort of felt as if CDMX subway system could barely keep up with the crush of incessant crowds.

Pros - fare is cheap, 5 pesos ($.30). Trains cover fair amount of territory. And, Transit Police present on train platforms.

Cons - hot, stuffy subway cars, escalators don't work in every station, and, elevators are hard to find.

Got to tour this tour with G last Friday. It was worth every penny and having him as a guide, both on the drive and at the site was fantastic.

I got so much more out of the experience with him explaining what I was seeing and answering a million questions. I’d definitely recommend this tour.

While it appears that most people use BlueBus to visit the pyramids, we hired them to transport our family of 23 from Mexico City to Cuernavaca and hour and a half away. Alex handled everything that we needed including several changes that we needed to make to our itinerary with patience and understanding. He even went out of his way to help us with a unique problem that arose. Daniel was our driver and was fantastic! He went above and beyond in every way. We will definitely use BlueBus again the next time we are in Mexico City! Thank you, thank you BlueBus!!!

Wasn't sure what to expect on the bus ride from Puerto Vallarta to Melaque & then back again a week later. It was better than expected. Quiet & comfortable. The road is quite windy...lots of tight turns...I found the Drivers very careful & safe....and on my return trip I took a Gravol to eliminate some of the road sickness feeling- it worked very well. Would likely do it again & would recommend Primera Plus

10 days in Mexico City, I used the Metro Bus and Subway all the time for my moving around the city. It is easy to figure out. Once you know the name of stations and the areas where you are going to and equipped yourself with a map. You are great. It is only 6 pasos per ride. Avoid rush hours though because it is very crowded. If you happen to use it during rush hour, one trick, don't step out of the car to get away from people because you will never get back in. Just stay where you are, they will push their way out. Learn the name of the stations where you are getting out. Oh one thing, a pink sign is the sign saying for women and children car. Don't get in there, you will get yelled at if you are a man.

Travel 4 Life has been extremely attentive, communicative, and reliable. I have used them for 6+ airport transfers and without fail they are present early with signs with our names, ready to go. Even when flights were delayed by hours and into the middle of the night, they were there, ready to drive to the hotel. They monitor their WhatsApp channel very reliably and with good English -- and they confirm your return airport transfer ahead of time so you're not wondering if they remember :). The drivers have been kind and helpful and the vehicles have been clean and comfortable. I really appreciate working with Travel 4 Life, would recommend them highly, and I look forward to using them again in the future! Thank you!

Carlos is great at communicating and very friendly. This is a family run business. I contacted him via WhatsApp and he immediately responded. He arranged for a driver to pick me up in a Sedan which was clean and comfortable. He was professional and timely. He was reasonably priced too. Highly recommend his company.

I recently did a trip to Teotihuacan from Mexico City with Paulina and it was a 5 out 5 stars experience! Not only did she get us there in time to beat the crowds; but she was super flexible and accommodating. I mentioned to her that I loved authentic Mexican food and she even got us back to CDMX in time to have lunch at her favorite place. It was the most memorable meal of my trip! Thank you, Paulina!! Highly recommend to anyone in Mexico City.

We were two couples and just returned from Mexico City. We hired Steban Barrera as a privet driver and tour guide. Such a great City especially when you hire someone like Steban Barrera. He is a great guy he is speaking English very well since he was living in the USA for a long time and, he is the best guide and best driver that you can find to show you everywhere in Mexico City and around. We were two couples, and we did not have any experience in Mexico City. Steban showed us so many places during our 6 days trip. We went to so many countries in the past but, this trip with someone like Steban was special. We enjoyed our unforgettable trip, and I will encourage you to have a trip to Mexico City and hire Steban if you want to see all the beautiful and historical places and enjoy the best food and historical restaurants. Thank you Steban. Gity & Ahmad

This was a great way to go. We stayed a week in Playa del Carmen and this was the way to go. The price beat that of a rental car and took away all the hassle of getting the car, driving on roads with which we weren't familiar, parking the car and returning the car. The drivers were both very personable and chatty. Also you can have a nice drink(adult beverage) in the back during the ride. After a hot day that was a great benefit.

Visited Mexico City with my family and Erik and Regium made the trip! The quality of the car and driving were top-notch, and the service was exceptional. We thought we had a great itinerary planned out, but in discussion we were given many helpful tips and suggestions that improved our stay and day trips outside the city. I have since recommended these services to several friends who have all used it and had equally amazing experiences. I normally rely on public transit, Taxis and Uber when I travel, but was so happy to use a driver for this vacation with my parents and siblings.
