Definitely a great place to visit. The park is huge and has a lot of things to do to spend the whole day. We enjoyed it, visited the lake and purchased tickets for the castle as of today $90 Mexican pesos for adult but totally worth it. I highly recommend it especially for families with kids.

The aquarium has a great variety of species and is a fantastic place; the decoration is stunning, and the staff is friendly. This place is a great place to have fun, but it is not inclusive for people with special needs. While waiting to buy our tickets, the line had an hour waiting time, and there were older people in wheelchairs and kids with autism, and the staff did not have a special line to avoid them wait for so long. The website was not working and you could not buy tickets online only at the cashier.

It is noisy and can be very congested. I did not like be log jammed in the canal. The area is a tourist trap. Make sure you bring pesos to pay for the boats or you will be charged a lot for paying with credit card like a lot.

Nice zoo. There were a few empty exhibits , but probably 90% visible and active. . Nice snack/food options . Well laid out.

Definitely go in the late afternoon, there are lots of people leisurely strolling, spending time with friends and family. There will also likely be crowds gathered around street performers adding a wonderful layer to the cultural experience.

It is a very beautiful place where you can go with your relatives and have a good time with your family. There is a variety of marine animals and it is very fun.

This place was amazing. Located at 10,000 feet altitude, there is a beautiful old convent here and hiking trails. There is also an onsite restaurant and several little stands selling water, snacks, and candy. While you can get to this place via public transportation, I would recommend hiring a driver for a half day. I paid $1,000 pesos ($800 fare, $200 tip) or about $50 USA to hire an off-duty taxi driver from 11am - 5pm and it was worth it. I didn't plan on eating here but my travel companion was hungry and wow am I glad I did. The food was divine and the service great. The old catacomb below the convent is open to walk through and I highly recommend bringing a bright flashlight. I used the light on my iPhone and it wasn't sufficient. There is a great article on Wikipedia about this place and its history. The forest here reminded me of the forests in the western USA.
You will pay two modest admission fees; one to get into the park itself and then a fee to tour the convent. If memory serves me correctly, it was $1 US per person to get into the park and something similar per person to tour the convent.

Scenic lake in Chapultepec Park and vibrant area. Many locals were enjoying the day passing the time away hanging out around the lake or renting paddle boats

I felt safe walking around despite the size and even after dinner walking home with no people around, we felt very safe. It’s a beautiful and well maintained park with lots to see an experience. Again if you decide to do this be warned that if you are not used to the altitude you will be panting as there are a lot of slopes!

Beautiful place for a picnic. Gets crowded on weekends, especially in the lower part of the park. Keep driving up for a few kilometers, the forest becomes less crowded and much nicer. Good for easy hiking.

This park is all gravel and mulch trails, do runners will love it. We loved all the trees and shade! This garden has many Mexican Plum trees, so during flowering season, the scent is amazing! This is a favorite park of ours.

One of several parks in the south of the city. Main attraction is an clock within a flower setting and I believe the only dog park in this area. Perfect to relax. Just next to buzzing endless Insurgentes street

Great place to bring the kids, it is pretty well kept, not too crowded and unbeatable price, far from a world class zoo but still a good place to visit
