Another great place to view the city. You’ll walk down a ramp, take some stairs down to the underground museum, ride an elevator to the observation deck, and climb some more stairs. All while learning a little bit of the Mexican history. Great city views once you get to the top observatory deck area. The historic part of this experience was also great. Once back on the street level, look carefully at the outdoor pillars that hold this structure. Each one holds the remains of an important Mexican historical figure including Pancho Villa. They have a small coffee shop at the top deck and a larger one on the first floor. No need for advanced ticket purchase. We purchased our tickets here.

Iconic and elegant, this emblematic and significant structure towers up above the roundabout it adorns. A glorious sight and a privilege to see.

An impressive monument located at Chapultepec. I took a few photos on my way to Chapultepec Castle, which is a must do.

This is a pretty impressive monument and what makes it even better is that it is in an absolutely beautiful space. The surrounding part and garden is fantastic.

We went to visit in July 2024, but did not manage to see it. Most gates were locked and we were turned away at a security checkpoint. Apparently, they are not permitting visitors to any part of the UNAM campus during the summer break. I did not find any information suggesting such online, so it was quite a long trip to be disappointed.

We went to the plaza and took some pictures, it took us about 10 minutes to do the pictures and observe the place, they have some street vendors and they have some street clowns who had a lot of people around to say some jokes and then collect the money. This is not a place that I would say that wowed me.

A classical statue of a type. Kept for artistic reasons although its portrayal of a conqueror stamping all over the indiginous residents hs provoked calls for its removal.
