My mom and I went on this amazing food tour and cooking experience together. Eren was very gracious and shared her vast knowledge of Mexican history, cooking, and culture. We learned to cook a vast array of food, and by the end, we were stuffed. We would definitely rebook this fun experience!

Phenomenal experience. We came for a Bachelor Party and the Aura Covina team was just splendid. They brought so many personal touches to the afternoon. We shared such a wonderful time. Would highly recommend this excellent experience.

Had suck an amazing experience cooking with chef Eren. We started with a visit of the local market where we gather fresh ingrediente and then we cooked. She provided context on the importance of the ingredients we used for traditional mexican food and answer all my questions. My favorite part was being able to cook everything myself and learning how different ingredients can be incorporated together to create amazing dishes. The food and the drinks at the end was delicious! Highly recommended if you are in Mexico City.

What a great experience it was! Margarita hosts the event in her beautiful home in Mexico City. She taught us several new cooking techniques and flavors which we will take home with us to share with friends and family. She also giving us great and unique recommendations for our time in Mexico. She is knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and has an inspiring appreciation for food and art.

The market tour was worth the price of admission alone. We have been back to the market several times since the class. Pamela was our teacher and guide. She was amazing! Spoke excellent English, was kind, funny, energetic and loves her work and her country. Can't wait to get home and tryout some of the recipes we learned about.

Fantastic - highly recommended! Graciela was kind enough not to cancel the class after a couple of other people dropped out, and is a great teacher - patient, knowledgeable, fun and has endless helpful hints and tips to make sure you get the most from your class

The venue is spotless, well equiped and is a really friendly, intimate venue to learn and taste some great Mexican food.

Who doesn’t love to enjoy a good cocktail or feel your mouth get the burn and excitable taste of a good salsa? Well, in this experience you get both treats at the same time. Mauricio takes you to Cocina Centro to learn, while having lots of fun, how to mix a good cocktail and make an amazing salsa.
It’s mind-blowing to realize how with “basic” ingredients but with the right process and technique, you bring all flavors to their max potential.
    I really recommend this experience!

Our hosts, Mariana and Geraldine could not have been more knowledgeable and nicer. The food market was fun, and we had an enjoyable time cooking, and then, of course sitting down to dinner.
Given we were traveling with our somewhat picky teenager, I asked that they limit the menu to pretty straightforward foods. They did, and we made a rice dish, salsa, cochinita pibil, and tostadas. The hands on part was somewhat limited but it was a joy to be in their kitchen. The neighborhood is lovely, so give yourself time to walk around in advance. I only wish that written out recipes would have been given out.

We could not have asked for a better experience!! Alex welcomed us in and made us feel like we were at home, right from the beginning. He picked the perfect menu, we thoroughly enjoyed learning about the dishes, while cooking them and sharing the meal together was outstanding! We will definitely be making these dishes again, at home, to share with family and friends.

We look forward to cooking with Alex & Ale again the next time we visit Mexico City.

Natalia is incredible. A group of us partook in a zoom salsa class as our Mexico City trip was cancelled. I came prepared to make delicious salsa, but had no idea how fun this would be. Natalia made sure the class being virtual did not take away from our experience, nor the quality of our food. She checked up on us individually throughout making sure everyone was on the same page. She was truly so hilarious and brought such a fun vibe to the group. She also sent us the recipes afterwards so we could keep them forever. I look forward to the day I can get down to Mexico city and take this class in person!

We (mother/daughter) had an incredible day with Chef Margarita! Everything from her warm welcome, beautiful home, market tour, and of course the cooking lesson were all wonderful! Having one on one lessons in the kitchen was definitely worth it. This also gave us a chance to enjoy an intimate setting and great conversation with Margarita.
I highly recommend this experience, and I plan to schedule more cooking lessons in the future.

During the pandemic I have experienced seven virtual food tours, most of them excellent, but our class with Chef Eduardo topped them all. Yesterday we tuned in on eight screens from locations across Western Canada to celebrate my daughter-in-law's birthday. She had selected a menu of chicken mole and a mezcal cocktail from an interesting list provided. It was a great choice! Eduardo is so engaging; funny, energetic, and well-informed. As a trained chef, he provided tips that were helpful to even the most seasoned cooks among us. The food was absolutely delicious, with plenty of left-over mole sauce. Eduardo gave us intriguing ideas on how to use the mole in other dishes, which I can't wait to try. I suspect we'll be recreating the berry cocktail when we do. Virtual cooking classes have been a fantastic way to bring everyone together during the pandemic. We cook together, then we eat together virtually. I suspect we'll continue that practice once COVID-19 is in our rearview mirror --- and we'll certainly take another class with Eduardo when we get to Mexico City in person.

A friend, her daughter, and I had a fantastic day doing a Mexican cooking class. We were picked up at our hotel by Jaime, taken to the market in Coyoacán where we were joined by Ricardo, then to the class with the chef. We shopped together, learned some of the history of the food and the area, then cooked and ate together with the chef. These three guys were so generous and friendly and we really enjoyed our time with them. I would highly recommend this company.
