A good portion of the tourist attractions (Chapultepec and all museums) are closed on Mondays, so my wife and I decided to walk around La Cuidadela on Monday after breakfast and a stroll down La Reforma.
Lots of clothes, toys, plates, textiles, metal artwork, mirrors, baskets, etc. Plan to spend some time to stroll through the many shops and stalls.

The lovely shop owner/representative, Angelica Arenos, was amazingly nice and help guide me through my purchase process ensuring that I picked up the right gifts for my friends and fam back home.
I’m beyond pleased with my purchase, I’ve been to the ciudadela market but every stall sells the same generic alebrijes and I would rather spend a little more for a unique item.

This place was a great place to do some shopping however the items here are a little bit overpriced, you can see people that are well-off buying things here all of the others just like me we just go and look around.
A visit here marks it as a benchmark of great shopping experience

There was a lady selling in a small "little shop" a bit hidden in the mercado, from which I bought my most adored rings.
The quality of gifts, souvenir and price point was excellent.
