Large market with a mix of handicrafts and souvenirs.

This was a nice place to shop because there were number of stalls all in one place and you could walk around and get a good look at a variety of things you might be interested in and then make your purchase choice after feeling like you had looked them all over. I feel certain it is not the lowest price Market, but it was very convenient and allowed me to pick up a few things that I knew that I wanted and get a good look at what the handicraft market from Central America is doing.

One of my big regrets is that I was returning with a small suitcase and could not buy some of the glassware that I saw that I liked it a lot. The merchants are quite professional. Most of them took credit cards and I paid for a couple of things with some other large bills that I had gotten at the bank machine and I did not get anybody who couldn’t change although I did try to use the big bills to buy things that were close to the size of the bills.

Overall, I liked it because I contained my shopping to one particular part of the trip and was not feeling like I wanted to stop at stalls everywhere we went.

Saturdays repeated to be the best day to go for this brightly colored, vibrant market. There is a covered bazaar area with local artisans. There are many art and craft vendors. I had been looking around for Mexican textiles that were not a poor quality and found my treasures here.

We went on our final morning. Our goal was to find antiques/unique items, not merely peruse a swap meet scenario. There are both types in the market which is VAST. Addresses online vary (due to the large set of blocks it encompasses, so it took a while (asking folks) what region of the market had the antiques. Thankfully we did not give up! Antique vendors have a specific section (mixed in were some vintage clothing, jewelry, etc), vs. other sections of the market were basic "tianguis" goods i.e. new socks, underwear, belts, menswear, quinceanera dresses, hello kitty, used books, etc.

Definitely be sure to brush up on your Spanish (duh), be polite, be fair in your offers. We wished we had more time, but were able to buy a handful of things in the 60-80 minutes we had. Mementos, some necklace pendants, a vintage 50s jacket, etc.

There was delicious taco stand and a fresh coconut juice stand we enjoyed. Prices were very reasonable. Various websites listed the opening hours differently (1 hour interval/gap), so we arrived halfway between. Definitely glad we made it, since it is only on Sundays. This was the most traditional of the markets we went to.

Other markets we attended were the punk market El Chopo (which didn't have as much selection as we had hoped, a lot of repetition of Hot Topic type of items found in the US, Adios Closet Bazar which is a monthly vintage clothing market (good stuff), and a street "tiangius" in Condesa (near Lardo) that had a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables.

This mall is worth the journey - the openness and beautiful displays is just perfect for a shopping excursion. The department store had a vast selection of clothing lines from high end to affordable apparel. The food court was also very impressive - good food and a decent variety. Finally the best part - tax refunds are completed right there in the mall - no need to worry with the airport.

This Mall is the biggest of all Mexico. You really can find anything here. There are shops with very expensive brands and there are very affordable shops. There is a very large ice skatingbring and there is a Mary go round and a very large cinema. And of course there are many places where you can eat. I thought it was fun to visit.

It was a pleasure to stay in Las Vegas oasis at gold spike, Naika's great service in the lobby and coffee in the morning was spectacular

The room is very comfortable they have a good disco bar at night excellent location. Really a great place to stay. They also have a pool a bit cold because of the weather but it's nice to spend the afternoon.

You can find house wares, all kinds of meat, and a variety of tropical and non-tropical fruit here. Not all the tropical fruit is as tasty as you would like to imagine. Definitely worth a visit if you like fruit, or have a place to cook. Prices are reasonable Uber rides for visitors are cheap.

This place has been closed for a few years now, cuz there’s a project to remodel the surrounding area and restore Siqueiros’ artwork. However if there’s an event or you are lucky to find it open, you will jump into another dimension cuz the artwork inside is amazing!!

If you have no such chance, you can still admire some of it from the outside. Just a small bite on what is inside…

The live animals threw me off, but the magic stalls were pretty fun. After a few purchases, my luck will go up and my enemies will feel the pinch!
Kinda neat to see that mix of modern religion and ancient practice.

Wasn’t able to spend much time in this market outside of two stalls in the front when it was opening. I was able to purchase two pair of silver earrings with clips as I don’t have pierced ears. Very good prices and I could have purchased so much more but my son and husband were anxious to leave. I also purchased really cute kids dress and shirt that were adorable. Didn’t really need to bargain as the prices were very reasonable.
