Incredible, personalized scuba experience. Genuinely nice people who love diving and the ocean and want to share it with their guests. Dives are unhurried and tailored to the skill level of the divers. Virgilio, Carlos, and Katie were brilliant on the boat and Pilar was lovely and easy to work with in the office. Fruit and snacks for surface intervals was a nice addition to the laughs and interesting conversations. Their care of our gear is also the best we have ever seen and we appreciated learning some tips and tricks… if we could give them 10 out of 5 stars we would.

We went everywhere with Pedro in Huatulco and also drove us for a day trip to the waterfalls (2 of them) and they are stunning. Pedro speaks very good english and is fine with us sharing his phone number. I highly recommend him and his phone is 9581110242. There are 3 waterfalls and they are quite far from each other but the second one is most popular with water terraces and a cave. We didn't take water slippers and were fine without them but you can also rent them there. Definitely recommend this day trip with Pedro which is way cheaper than the tours! The roads to the waterfall are rough and full of potholes but Pedro did an amazing job and we never felt unsafe. As a vegan, food was a challenge as the restaurants near waterfalls only serve meat and the villages along the way also serve meat so take some snacks if you are Vegan. A memorable day trip!

Hands down the most beautiful way to spend a day in Huatulco. Admittedly it is a bit of a journey to get there - about 45 minutes by taxi from our B&B in eastern Huatulco along a slightly bumpy road (towards the end), but amazingly the taxi stayed there the whole day while we enjoyed ourselves and then took us back, for no extra charge! We randomly chose a restaurant (the Rubimar), and just sat ourselves down for the entire day. No-one seemed to mind - in fact that is the norm. Our bags were safe while we went swimming - no concerns at all. Ordered food and drinks whenever we wanted - just very simply grilled fish fresh from the ocean and fruit from the nearby farms. The calm warm water was 15 feet from the table, and the coral was hardly any distance at all from edge of the water. Very easy to snorkel - not busy, lots of fish, calm, warm, shallow or deep (your choice). SO beautiful! Relaxing, good food and drink, safe, fun, easy - nothing to concern your mind in any way!

We stayed at a small hotel near the beach. The beach is lovely but access greatly curtailed by all inclusive resorts. The best access is by the campground. There are very few restaurants in the area and only a few worth a repeat visit.

I just loved the snorkeling around the island! A beautiful peaceful place. But please don’t go. Let’s keep it pristine .

This beach is an easy cab ride from La Crucecita or Santa Cruz. I recommend getting there early -before 10- and snorkeling around the point to find a quiet little beach. With less people, the water is more clear. See if you can find the cave. It’s around the corner. Look for a rock that has a brain-like top to it. It’s nice to grab a table at one of the restaurants and enjoy families on the beach later in the day…but our favorite is the morning.

Maguey is a nice big beach only 70 pesos taxi ride to get there from Santa Cruz. Lots of good beach restaurants to choose from, and a roped off area on the lift has very good snorkelling.
Nice for a good day trip, and only 12 minutes away.

Super fun day sunbathing, swimming and boogie boarding. Be very aware!!! Cabs will drop you off but not come to pick you up!!! We were stranded for an hour at the end of the day and ended up reaching our hotel who sent a car to pick us up

Beautiful cascading waterfalls in a mountain jungle setting. Smaller than nearby Magicas waterfalls, but much less crowded and more authentically natural. This is run and maintained by local villagers so you are supporting local business.

Went to this beach a couple of times. As others have mentioned, it is not the best for swimming. Although there were people swimming, and there are lifeguards on duty. This I think means that it is never very crowded, so is a lovely beach to relax, wade, read a book. Has a public parking lot, also a jetty you can walk out for a different view.

The great thing here is that if you visit by cruise ship then you berth at a pier that is just a short walk from a fine sandy beach.
