We just got back from our honeymoon on Virgin Voyages cruise line and did this excursion (snorkeling) and this was an unforgettable memory. We had the pleasure of having MJ and Kaylin. They brought us over to the shipwreck, gave us history on the Sapona, and then we were able to snorkel and OMG the site is breathtaking. We got to see so many different arrays of fish, 3 sea turtles, 3 stingrays, lion fish, even a nurse shark over at the wreck! Then they showed us over to another snorkel spot where we got to swim with sharks! All in all it was an amazing experience only thing I wish I would’ve done is brought a go pro or underwater camera to capture the beautiful ocean in Bimini!

Dolphin House, a magical place, Ashley Saunders, touched by grace, swam with the dolphins, in Bimini sea, artistic wonder, came to be.
With only a shovel, the story is told, rose from foundation, strong and bold, 3 stories tall, and roof lookout, made with things, from all about.
License plates, from every state, drifting markers, lost their weights, conk shells used, to build the walls, help the house, stand strong and tall.
So many things, he built to see, told by dolphins, for you and me, one man's trash, from far and wide, Ashley's treasure, he couldn't hide.

We only stopped at this reef to prepare for a dolphin swim so we had low expectations. However, it was just teeming with life, many schools of fish, coral rocks to explore, and it is in shallow enough water to explore via snorkel or scuba. Saw it with Neal Watson who is always great to dive with.

Old style Bahama feel. Our room was clean but older. Cleaning staff were great. Front desk staff could not explain our last invoice. Resort staff pushed it off to the dive shop. After 5 email requests, they just never resolved or explained. Very disappointing! As well as expensive.

Excellent experience! So untouched. People were accommodating as we trekked and swam our way through the remnants and carbon footprints and blocks. Amazing experience!

We stopped on our Wildquest catamaran for a snorkel here. There are many different theories as to why the stones are here, but none of that matters compared to the beauty of the fish!

I think the key to a good time here is having your expectations in check. This is a free, local beach. It is not a resort beach.

The water is clear and overall it's as nice as any other local beach. The sand is a bit course and there are areas of trash but it isn't overwhelming and doesn't take away from the experience if the goal is to enjoy the water.

If you are looking to lounge in comfortable chairs with quality food and drinks like you would at a resort, you will be disappointed.

If you want to enjoy the water, you will not be disappointed. Now I will say there are better areas of free beach elsewhere on the island, so definitely go out and explore.

I have visited this site many times. The Bimini Road or Atlantis Road off North Bimini near triangle rocks for me is best seen at low tide, so as to have better access if snorkeling. I have also dived it several times. The visibility is usually crystal clear and the stone formations are really cool.
The area is an underwater arrangement of stones that has baffled natives, mystics and scientists for generations. Many believe it to be an old road or sea port of the sunken continent of Atlantis. To some, it is merely a natural underwater stone formation, discovered in 1968. You can anchor off or tie up to a buoy here.

As a first time visitor to Bimini, Bahamas aboard our sailboat we were lacking the guidance necessary to find what we needed. As we were riding by ComputerCater, we met the proprietor, Marlena Frazier, and we instantly felt that we were in great hands. She made the bold statement that she has or can get absolutely everything we need, and sure enough, as transient sailors, we had some odd requests. Marlena, like a personal concierge, outfitted us with everything we need, at absolutely reasonable prices, and with such a warm and endearing demeanor. I feel like we met a first class proprietor, running a first class operation, and her motto "without you, there is no me" made us feel like we were her only customer. It will be very easy to find ComputerCater, because it is one of the best kept, neatest, tidiest buildings on the entire island. Make sure you visit Marlena, you will be very happy you did!!!
