Taylor Bay Beach
#4 of 43 things to do in Providenciales
Perfect for everyone, but especially great for kids and those who aren’t strong swimmers as the waters are shallow and calm.
Very shallow, brilliant colors - and you can easily find spots to get that Robinson Crusoe feeling... Great for kids too!

It's a narrow beach and the water here is far deeper than on the south side, Great for older kids and the perfect place for the perfect sunset shot.

It is always nice if you have children to stop by and see the iguanas.
Kids loved the iguanas.

Bight Reef
#11 of 43 things to do in Providenciales
This is a great reef to explore with young children as you can walk right off the beach from Grace Bay into the reef.
It's a fantastic beginner snorkelling area for families because while the reel is roped off to protect the coral you can use the rope to help guide you and orient you.

Our Lady of Divine Providence
#14 of 43 things to do in Providenciales
We felt welcome and enjoyed the experience of worship with God's big family.
My family decided a few years ago that we would not skip Mass when we go on vacation, and we have had such wonderful experiences in searching out local Catholic Churches.
Chalk Sound
#5 of 43 things to do in Providenciales
The only place to eat with a breathtaking view of Chalk Sound is either at a private villa or at this lovely family own restaurant called "Las Brisas".
They were in really good condition and it was a blast taking the kids out for a tool around the Sound... highly recommended!
Long Bay Beach
#12 of 43 things to do in Providenciales
This is the perfect beach for families with kids and for watersport activities but naturally leaves much to be desired in terms of snorkeling, diving or any beach activity that requires water depth.
Kayaks, paddle boards and an enormous fire pit made our family stay absolutely outlet amazing!

Malcolm's Road Beach
#16 of 43 things to do in Providenciales
Nurse sharks, turtles, cuttlefish families, some barracuda of significant size and some beautiful corals.
Young children should be monitored in the water as it can be rocky in certain places, but they will have a blast swimming with all of this curious fish that will come up to them.

Cheshire Hall Plantation
#17 of 43 things to do in Providenciales
I like my kids to know a bit about each place we go, and this was a great place for them (and me) to learn about TCI history.
It was well worth the $10 entry fee ($5 for kids) and gave us a good flavour of the island's history.
