Taylor Bay Beach is stunning! Beautiful calm bay and great for little kids as it's pretty shallow. Bring lots of suntan lotion and an umbrella for some shade!

Stopped at Grand Turk on our cruise. It is such a stunning location. The cruise ship stops right at the beach so no transfers needed. There is a purpose built cruise terminal which houses a duty free shop. There is also a purpose built swimming pool with sun beds for the cruise passengers along with a flo-rider. (charges apply). Bars & shops in the area include Margaritaville, Starbucks, Ron Juan Surf Shack to name a few. Some of the sun beds are free for cruise passengers, but its not clear which ones they are or where.
The beach nearest the ship is the most crowded, so we decided to walk up to Governor's Beach. Its a 20/30 min walk and this is where the Mega One Triton Shipwreck is. You cant walk all the way up the beach to it. We walked up the beach as far as Jack's Shack, turned right up the side of it, and carry on walking until you reach the road. Turn left onto the road and follow it until you see a sign pointing to Governor's Beach. We got to the beach around 8.30am and had it to ourselves for about an hour. There are toilets here. There are also plenty of trees on the beach for shade.
Around 10am a guy turned up with a load of sun beds and umbrellas if you wanted. A local person also set up a make-shift bar selling beers, soft drinks and crisps. Even as the morning progressed, the beach remained very quiet.
Next to the shipwreck was a rocky area in the sea and these 2 places were excellent for snorkelling. The sand was white and soft and the water turquoise crystal clear. Whilst snorkelling we saw a turtle, and plenty of colourful fish. This beach is what you imagine a Caribbean beach should be!

One of the best place to snorkel on the island. Quiet, clean, sting rays and sea turtles. Worth visiting a few times.

Do not miss this seeing Chalk Sound. You eyes will not believe what they see. We could not say enough about the color of the turquoise waters and our photos look like they were photoshopped but were not. Be sure to hit SAPODILLA BAY Beach, believe me you will never forget this beach.

The location. Moved to Stubb Diamond Plaza. Well attended, great energy from the band and DJ. Long lines to get food from vendors. We ended up getting food at Mr. Groupers next door to the party. A few crafters present but mostly tshirt and mass produced souvenirs.great for people watching!

spent my "dry day" after a week of diving at Bohio Dive Resort at Gibbs Cay. It was a fun day of snorkeling and conch ceviche.

Beautiful beach to snorkel or take a walk on the beach. Located near Bohio Resort which is nice but a bit over priced.

Perfect beach for anyone, but especially if you have little kids. It’s so nice to be able to walk out a long length at shallow (yet still crystal clear) waters. It’s a bay so there were minimal waves. I felt more at ease to let my kids play with a lot less anxiety than at Grace Bay.

It was about a 15 min drive from the Grace Bay area (we stayed at Alexandra Resort). Go down South Dock Road about 3 mi, turn right on Chalk Sound Road. There are two parking areas/entrances. First is a dirt road after a telephone pole pretty soon after you turn right onto Chalk Sound Road. The other is after you pass Las Brisas on the right. Recommend the latter.

Plenty of vendors selling drinks and food. Music was great - they were bumping 90s/early 2000s music so I was in my element.

Bring your own umbrellas/chairs/blankets if you can. Someone tried to sell my husband use of two chairs for $80 at the parking area, but he was able to get the same for $30 on the beach.

Some tour boats will come close to the beach to drop off passengers.

It’s totally worth renting a car to visit this beach. I think we spent no more than $100 for a mid size and the company outfitted it with a car seat and booster seat for my kids.

Love this beach area. It's just off from the ship, easy walk down. Nice water, just beautiful.

Wanting to get away from the crowds and noise of Margaritaville (but not all the way down to Jack's Shack) we rented chairs and umbrella from place right next to the open seating. Caution: SKIP the first place; they say 'bathrooms, wifi, waiter, but the bathroom is back at port and no wifi and just kinda of a ripoff vs other local run areas. Better off sticking w/ a bar on the beach.

Mark provided a fantastic tour of the facility walking us through step by step production of their various selections. Super informative and was a great overall tour for the price. We received 8 beers a couple to taste after the tour- we did not need to call ahead for the tour. Highly recommend

Easy access with good parking. Unfortunately the bath houses and porta potties were not accessible. The reef is within 20 yards of the beach and has plenty of fish, coral and sponges creating an awesome underwater display.

Half Moon was an amazing uninhabited Island. We were the only ones there - just our foot prints in the sand.
