What travelers are saying
- ImajicaLondon, UK401 contributionsMost beautiful place. Tricky to negotiate the route but you do have a choice of the easy or medium route!
I recommend that you wear beach shoes!

Car park a short 5 min walk to the bay.It was mostly empty, the sea is turquoise and feels like silk. There is some shade from a palm tree and some bushes. Walk round the corner to another lovely beach.
Lots of the beaches are private. Savannah Bay is a long beach, also lovely and easy to access by car.Written May 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The water, beaches and rocks made for a stunning backdrop. I highly recommend wearing water shoes of some type due to the rocky paths and having to navigate some steep stairs and using a rope chain on some rocks. This stop was the highlight of our port days!Written March 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FivestarsallthewayGloucestershire, UK1,174 contributionsBeautiful beach. Clean. Sea was very lively with no waves for a few minutes then a couple of huge ones would sweep you off your feet. A few rocks are growing super spiky coral. Not many fish sadly. Great place to moor up and bbq.Written March 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- John TGuildford, UK29 contributions35 minute walk - the longer trail. Steep and rocky in places but not difficult. No one else there so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views if you scramble up a rock and we were joined by a little hummingbird!Written May 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FivestarsallthewayGloucestershire, UK1,174 contributionsReally lovely new build. Very funky and modern with elements of the 70’s in the furniture. Loud music but the kind you want to dance to. Great place to watch the sun set.Written March 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- benddragonsouthern oregon278 contributionsI have visited this island 12 times now and always stay at the Mango Bay Resort, on Mahoe Bay. It is beautiful there! - Ben DBahamas34 contributionsI happened to be here on pretty much the best day of weather ever. The conditions were perfect, from the bow of the boat we could look down and see the huge 'cuda's and schooling reef fish. The wreck is pretty much intact, and very safe.Written January 18, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Piers, etc. in good condition. Limited on-site but market very close for reprovision (and very nice, accommodating service).Written July 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. On one of our trips, we rented a car, but on this last trip, we just stayed on the resort, and had plenty to occupy our time.Written February 16, 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Susan MTampa, FL70 contributionsGreat views of the islands in the area! This sign has bright artwork on it as of May 2022. Head up the street to Hog Heaven for a beer or drink great burgers, and BBQ items. The view is one of the best you will see in Virgin Gorda where you can see Mosquito Island, Necker Island, Prickly Pear, Saba Rock, Bitterend Yacht club, etc.Written July 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
