What travelers are saying
- Vanessa BLouisville, KY8 contributionsThe views were amazing, there are two small beach restaurants with each chairs for rent. You can snorkel or just relax. One side of the island is very secluded for topless or even nude sunbathing if you dare and the snorkeling is really amazing on that side as well, it’s a very short hike over on a beaten path. The views from the top of the hill are very pretty. There is a ferry over that cost $12 round trip and runs every 30 minutes or you can rent a kayak as well but it’s a fair ways away.Written May 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve CColorado Springs, CO27 contributionsLoterie Farm came highly recommended by a fellow traveler we met earlier in the week. So, we decided to carve out an afternoon to experience it. Unfortunately, due to recent knee surgery, I wasn’t able to enjoy the hiking trails but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. The pool atmosphere is very cool as is the music and overall vibe of the place. We met a fun young couple on their honeymoon and really enjoyed our server, Jules, as well. The food and drinks were also top notch. Superb house margaritas that will kick your butt if you’re not careful. All around great time that we look forward to visiting again.Written May 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jemicaPictou, Canada239 contributionsAwesome atmosphere & wonderful meal here. Didn't do the Rhum tour. We spent 10 days in St Maarten & wanted to eat at a different restaurant each night, otherwise we would have come back here a second time.Written April 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - L Tallent12 contributionsThe staff was wonderful and the smoothies are to die for! A thoroughly enjoyed my visit and am so glad I decided to stop in.
For only $10 per adult, they give you a feeder cup of bird seed and you enter into a beautiful enclosure where you interact with hundreds of different species of birds. No, not all are native to the island but so what? They are all beautiful and the experience is like no other. The enclosure is beautifully decorated, the birds are clean and well taken care of (and a bit spoiled) and all are aware you are holding food for them. They make their way to you to feed eat from the feeder in your hand, or you may go visit the ones on the numerous perches around the enclosure to offer a snack. Many of the birds with distinct personalities have names (be sure to ask staff) - such as Hope (the white dove), and Koo-Koo (the big white parrot).
I would plan to spend at least an hour here, to sit down and relax with the birds, interact with the caring staff, visit the gift store and have a smoothie! It is an outside enclosure, so wear bug spray and breathable clothing. I also don't recommend wearing jewelry - one of the birds was very attracted to my earrings and necklace.

- Fannie BRosemere, Canada10 contributionsNothing on the beach, no more chairs and umbrella's rental. No more beach snack. - vladmeisterNYCNew York City, NY293 contributionsThis is not for your ordinary beachgoers. This requires effort. But your effort is well rewarded at the end.
Do yourselves a favor and walk the hill. Don't drive. You will ruin the fun. Park at the Farm for a fee and walk.Written December 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Suzie HHuger, SC16 contributionsWe bought a snack bag of cheese and the De Rotterdamsche Oude was so good that if I could have turned the cruise ship around to go buy more, I would have. This was the second trip to this shop and I will stop in St Maarten every chance I get just to shop here.Written April 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HAT1 contributionPatrick was absolutely amazing. My friends and I (total of 7 people) went to St. Martin for the first time and hired Silver line tours for our fun filled week on the island. From the start Patrick exceeded our expectations. He would make sure we had reservations for the beaches we wanted to go to and make dinner recommendations for us. If we called him in the morning and asked him to take us to breakfast he was there with a smile on his face. He always made sure we were takin care of. Patrick is friendly, professional and a timely communicator. I would def recommend Silver line tours and transportation for your next visit.Written May 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MelissaLasVegasLas Vegas, NV645 contributionsWe kept seeing/hearing about this place called "Juggies" so we HAD to find it and stop during our visit to Front Street/Philipsburg. We brought a couple of bras as he makes a Donation to Breast Cancer Awareness. Just fun to meet Juggie and others gathered around to sit and BS/laugh at the "Smallest Bar in the World". A couple of the girls in our group bought some "Magic Spice" and we HAD to have the Milkshakes (adult)....SO Yummy! You gotta stop and check it out!Written May 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
