Amazing construction, beautiful scenery. Enjoyed the visit, informative. Temperature was in 90's, wonderful breezes, many families flying kites leading to the entrance. Worth the visit.

Interesting old fort from the Spanish colonial times. It’s smaller and more do-able in a short time, as well as easier on the Effort involved than the other fort in San Juan. Both are US National Park Service, and well done story boards in the covered areas of the fort.

Castillo San Felipe del Morro offers gorgeous views of the city and ocean. The entrance fee is very reasonable at $10 per adult - card only. There are plenty of places to take refuge from the sun, but stay hydrated and wear lots of sunscreen. This attraction was worth the entrance fee to learn the history.

The day my family went there were fantastic street vendors selling hand crafted goods for very reasonable prices! I bought a crochet stingray and my brother bought a crochet chicken! My favorite booth. 18$ each, which felt very reasonable for crochet pieces. Very friendly, kind and hard working people. The woman I bought from was so patient even though my card was giving me trouble. I love supporting local artisans wherever I travel. The street itself and the statue were beautiful, such amazing architecture. We loved going at dusk, we just got done with dinner and enjoyed a nice stroll.

We visited San Juan at the beginning of September. Wonderful weather. Very warm and humid but at the height of hurricane season we only saw a quick rain storm! The water is rough for sure. Red flags were up daily. We did swim despite the warning. Water is warm but waves are rough. Next time we will visit Isla Verde. Condado is very walkable. Bring a hat, wear sunscreen and hydrate to combat the humidity!

The umbrellas in the picture are beautiful but have been replaced with lackluster umbrellas. the street does have numerous gift shops. Highly recommend Handcraft Store at 101 C Fortaleza which has a wonderful selection of artisan items as does another shop called Puerto Rico Art & Crafts at 204 Fortaleza. There are also many eateries along the street.

A beautiful but small beach! I came for a few hours one day last week. It was pretty crowded, but everyone was happy and clearly having a good time. The water was clear with gentle waves. Best of all, this beach offers shade! I felt so comfortable lounging under the palm trees.

Parking was very easy and only $5 for the day. The beach is also accessible via some hotel shuttles.

Well organized, amazing collection of art. Loved all the different styles and the history about Puerto Rican artists. Paid $40 to get in and see the 3 special exhibits ($3 additional each) for two adults. Highly recommend paying the little extra! Clean, well maintained space with beautiful outdoor gardens to roam around.

I noticed the doors were open for a Sat evening mass, and was welcomed to come in for the service. The mass (about 40 minutes) was done in Spanish, although the homily was also repeated in English. Although I do not understand Spanish, and am not Roman Catholic, you still experience the unity of worship that transcends cultures and languages.

This was a lovely beach with waves gentle enough for the kids but a tiny bit overwhelming for my toddler. Ice cream man came and it was delicious!! Breezy but not overly so.

If you plan on doing high end shopping then go here otherwise you'll waste time. We had time to kill so decided to visit but it's pretty much what I can find home except pay more taxes 😂so that part is definitely a plus if you shop here.
