I went to this place with 7 other family members, ages 11 - 44 to celebrate my birthday. WE HAD A GREAT TIME!
First, the place. The location is beautiful. The place is well kept, colorful, inviting and happy. The tables all have an assortment of classic board games like Connect 4, Chess, puzzles and stuff like that to enjoy. This is a neat place to hang out eating your ice cream.
Second, the Escape experience. THIS WAS SUPERB! The theme is that you are the PR Electric Company trying to restore power to the island after the hurricane. They even give you hard hats, flashlights and orange vests. Without giving anything away, I must say the experience is cleverly made. The puzzles are varied, but mostly are designed for you to find clues to open some sort of lock... a LOT of locks to be exact. But in order to get there, the puzzles are varied.
We found the difficulty level to be... doable! We actually managed to escape the room with 2 minutes to spare! It is difficult sometimes, but the staff is always monitoring you from the outside via cameras with intercom and when you get stuck you get up to 2 clues. I enjoyed that everyone regardless of their age was able to cooperate and being helpful in the experience.
Once you get out, you are welcomed by a free ice cream with topping of your choice which is included in your price of admission. The ice cream was good! I got myself a Dulce de Leche Cheesecake one, with real cheesecake pieces.
I would suggest to the management to perhaps have some sort of trophy so winners can have bragging rights on their photos afterwards! Also, I would suggest a simple prize like an ice cream Upgrade to larger or an extra topping for the winners to add up MORE motivation to make it thru!
Considering the free ice cream and the fact that it is a 1 hour + safety and instructions briefing, I found the price to be fair. I recommend this place with all my heart. It was SUPERB and everyone should try it!
