Bought a Giclèe at this galery shipped to Us when open it to get it frame it has a digital blur in the middle of the piece. Called the gallery to see if they could replace the print and they told me that they didn’t do returns and that I had to keep it. And on top of that I got insulted by the owner, a very rude and unprofessional person. Don’t buy anything here.

The owner was very helpful with local things to do while we were visiting Rincon. She is very pleasant and has beautiful gifts/art for sale. Gallery is small but worth the trip.

All of his pieces represent a part of him! Each piece has a story. We could have spent all day listening to him speak of his childhood and the inspiration behind them.
    Truly an unforgettable experience!

I look forward to Jessica's class all week. The instructor has a master's degree in art. Her bilingual teaching is clear, concise demonstrations of the fine art of clay. Not just post, mugs and vases. She takes on a tour of a vast variety of clay techniques. Example half covered balloon with clay, dry to leather consistency, pop it, wall- la a designer bowl for the dining room table. The multitude of glazes stains and tints some with ground glass in that melt in the kiln. It made my head spin!

The multi-generational group always has fun chatting, singing and humming to the music. You might find a friend or meet a new friend. Best deal in town. $30 a session and I created three masterpieces. 2 sessions one forming and 2nd glazing with out more visit to pick up your treasures. Great for making gifts or wedding trinkets for the guest tables. Or just surprise yourself with a fun filled day and your own masterpieces. Food for the soul.

Forgot Jessica treats you with mimosas and humans chips. She is the best!!

The Poets Passage is a little gem in old San Juan. Not only is this an art gallery featuring Nico but also a place to hear poetry reading. We appreciate and support the works of local artists and the Poets Passage is a short walk from the cruise terminal for all you cruisers looking for local artisans.

Its a small house, but it harbors a nice collection of art made by the students of the art institute of Carolina. Such a great place to show their abilities.

Urbe Apie is a street blocked from the use of cars that until recently was a bit drab. Luckily the revolutuonary youth of the town have cleaned, painted, built a large garden, started and art gallery, thrift shop, sleeping areas for travellers, social lunches and dinners, workshops, a magic shop, etc. They also have strick a deal with the city to waive any fees for outdoor vending so know a farmers/flea market has started once a week too. We had visited 2 years ago and thought it has a lot of potential, now we see that the crews have really made progress! Also there are many more vacant buildings on the street beckoning for more great/gifted people to clean thier insides and start thier dreams within a growong community of wonderful individuals who care about thier home and the planet! Have fun, and when you visit the art gallery introduce yourself to the professor of cocunuts Brandon!

Our visit to Galeria Botello was an unexpected highlight of our stay in Old San Juan! We lingered over Angel Botello's sculptures, drawings and paintings in the gallery inspired by his time in Haiti and by his children. To our delight, we met his granddaughter who gave us a tour of the family home upstairs, now serving as a museum housing the artist's private collection. It was unbelievably gorgeous, all the bearings of an artist's keen eye for architectural details that uniquely complement his collection of art and santos.

We'd highly recommend stopping here and the Museo de Arte (which has a collection of Botello's work) if you appreciate art and historic architecture.

So the thing to know is that this is NOT a gallery, but a small city park with some statues and a small fountain. It is right off Paseo de la Princesa and is next to a kids park (a playground sort of). It is very pretty and is a nice place to sit for a few minutes.

So many unique and beautiful pieces for sale! Jewelry, art, and other souvenirs that you could spend all day exploring. The women who own the gallery are very friendly and not pushy; but will discuss the pieces with you if you want more knowledge about them. Amazing place and i can’t wait to visit again.
