What travelers are saying
- aar0815Danvers, MA134 contributionsI can't even begin to explain how amazing this beach is! I absolutely adore strolling along the shore in the morning when everything is calm and serene. And let me tell you, the lively atmosphere in the afternoon is like a live show, haha! Walking along the beach, making a pit stop at Negril treehouse or skylark for a drink, and then hopping on a boat to the island... Honestly, this is my top beach in the whole wide world, and I've been to quite a few!Written March 11, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stacy CNorwalk, Connecticut, United States7 contributionsSo there is a great stretch of beach in Negril, Jamaica known as Bloody Bay. There are several luxury hotels there. If you are looking for a great local guy to show you around, A1 is the man!! He can arrange any tour or excursion, arrange transportation for you and get you anything you may need during your stay. He took care of my family and I during our stay there last week.Written January 16, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - San19 contributionsThe cliffs in Negril at Rick's Cafe was an amazing experience! Do not go to JA and miss the chance to enjoy the cliffs. There were various levels to jump from to get into the warm, white-sand water that looks like a pool when the sun hits it! Just exciting and satisfying! The beautiful sunset, great music, and the delicious food brought a blissful end to the day! ❤️Written May 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The host Damali was kind, very friendly, thoughtful and shared with us the great history of his family’s cave . We had a wonderful time and will always visit when in Jamaica. - dood636Tucson, AZ103 contributionsQuick and easy island stop during coastal boat tour. It’s one of those things that’s cool to visit once for maybe a few minutes. Lots of jungle vegetation and sand fleas. Entertaining to see the “clothing optional” scene right across the water at Hedonism Resort.Written July 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EFitz5 contributionsI think that visitors should understand that the hummingbirds are not kept in a cage for when you get there and then he lets them out for you to feed.
My husband and I visited and did not see any birds. However, I love plants, I was amazed at how many beautiful flowering plants was crammed into a small lot, along with several water features. Barney was knowledgeable about all his plants and I was happy to recognize some of them. The visit was a pleasant one and I will go back on my next trip.Written September 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PApointerdiverMechanicsburg, PA19 contributionsA very unusual coral formation not found elsewhere. If you choose to dive it, contact Scuba Caribe at the Club Riu and ask for dive Instructor Lloyd as your guide. He has been diving these waters for over 30 years.
