- fantastimo91New York City, NY9 contributionsCoco Bongo is Club you have to visit if ever in the Dominican Republic Area. Its beautiful and the shows were amazing. You don't have to buy the open bar if you're not a big drinker but if you want to drink until 1am, definitely go for that option.
Please get these on time. Leave 2 hrs before the start time. An awesome experience and discovered I had been "enjoying" good cigars totally wrong. Bert was a wealth of knowledge on cigar history, smoking technique, other well known brands and made me feel like an old friend straight away. Paired a couple of cigars with his amazing coffee and was engaging, funny and also was interested in my own background. A humble and trusting man for sure. A truly unique experience and would go back again next time in Punta Cana. Oh and the Vivaldi cigars??...wow!!

Everyone from Owner, Pit Bosses, Dealers to waitstaff are very friendly and know us by name ( I don’t know if that is good or bad 😉).
On my birthday trip, they played Happy Birthday for me over the speakers and we even managed to talk the owner into sharing a shot of tequila with us.
On another trip, while celebrating a friend’s birthday, they brought him over a piece of birthday cake.
I know these are extras from what you expect at a casino but I just wanted to relate the friendliness of the staff.
Now onto the “casino”. We are blackjack players so I can’t speak to the other games, but slots are there and a few of our friends enjoyed their time at the roulette table.
It is a non-smoking casino, if you do, you can step outside to their quaint little patio that is shared with their restaurant.
The cards are continuous shuffle, as they are in most of the DR. Most drinks are free (top shelf not included).
Hands are capped at $50(US) but you can play 2 if you are so inclined.

Nothing could have been better. We were met on arrival at Venice airport and taken to our coach for the journey to the Lakes
Were met at every location by our guides. There was a body count at every stop & destination. Every piece of luggage was managed, to make sure that it went on the same coach as the owner/ traveler.
Every day the guides were available, early in the morning and late in the evening, in all the hotels, to answer questions & queries. Assembly and departure times were printed in advance and available on the desks in all the hotel foyers.
Unfortunately the guides had to leave us, after making sure everything was 'fine & dandy' when we boarded the Cruise ship, The Queen Victoria
The 2 tour guides who went above & beyond are pictured here on the outside of us.

We where with a whole group and we all thought it was fantastic and this place definitly needes more credits The show was fabulous, food was great, the dancers are incredible good, the "girls" looked amazing in there outfits and make up. The cast made enough time for pictures and dance some in their club. Lovely appetizers in the afternoon. Loved the dancers that they had walking around and performing on the bar. The only thing I didn't like was in order to get American Liquor (ex: Ciroc, Hennessy etc....) you had to buy the whole bottle and I guess get a table. The staff and security are great, safe place to visit if you want a more local vibe to your night out.
