Our guide, Carlos, made the experience very memorable and exciting. He’s speaks English very well, so don’t worry about any language barriers.
He is also very friendly and down to earth. For example, Carlos and I chatted for awhile about a mountain biking which was a common interest. In other words, he was very welcoming and it made the waterfall jumping/sliding tour even better than we expected.
For the waterfall portion of the tour, we were with two other couples, so it was a small group which gave us plenty of time to enjoy to take videos/photos.
The van ride from the cruise port was scenic and quick. The facilities at the bottom of the waterfalls were very nice and maintained with showers and bathrooms to change into dry clothes.
If you do, bring a camera, make sure that it’s waterproof and has a some sort of leash to stay attached to you because you will be swimming in deep water for a short periods of time and there are other parts that could cause you to lose it. Also, if you need to wear glasses, use a strap to hold them on.
After the waterfalls, we had a delicious buffet lunch with a huge bottle of included rum🍹, so our group was on “another level” by the end of the tour. 😂🥳
If you enjoy a little hiking, jumping off and sliding down waterfalls, then you’ll probably love this tour.
