From the moment I stepped on property the service was second to none.. including a courtesy car to and from my hotel to the course.. the staff in pro shop were helpful polite and assisted with all queries about my day, from sourcing me the most suitable hire clubs for my play (scratch golfer) with new Titleist T300, quality Titleist woods and a Scotty putter.. the caddy was polite on introduction and assisted with the range, and clubs while I practiced (on perfect practice facilities).. from the moment I got to first tee to putting out on 18 the experience was awesome.. the course was amazing maintained to an exceptional standard and given I was a single player and teed off at 08.00 there was no one on the course.. the caddy Luiz, was helpful and knowledgeable and was a definite be if it to my experience.. true millionaires golf.. the stretch of holes hugging the coast are some of the best you could play anywhere in the world.. the cost may put some people off but shouldn’t as it truly is a once in a lifetime experience and worth every dollar…

The golf experience nce was very nice. The course was in great condition. The caddie we had Dennis was excellent. Recommended this golf club to anyone and make sure you ask for Dennis to be your caddie

Nicely done, well kept course. We had a 9am tee time and it was already pretty humid and hot. We didn’t hydrate enough the day before, so make sure to prepare for the humidity. A Gatorade would have been nice but unfortunately the cart staff just had water, fruit and sandwiches.

Would encourage anyone staying in the area to play this course, great value. Watch out for the sand traps some of them are several feet deep. Really cool green on front 9 with cave like feature green side.

The course is in really good condition and plays really well. Not too challenging and the fairways are generous. The staff at the golf complex could not be more helpful. they are a credit to the complex. Rental clubs were ok but graphite shafts not the best.

I heard that this was a bucket list course - the Pebble Beach of the Caribbean - and it certainly lived up to the hype! It’s quite pricey for non Campa de Caso guests (500 USD) but worth it IMHO. The layout is both breath taking with 7 holes along the coast line including three par 3s. Caddies are a MUST here. My caddy Ramon helped with the club selection and the correct lines of the tee. Trust me - you NEED local knowledge with the amount of wind out there. Many holes do NOT play the measured yardage so having a good caddy will save shots and golf balls lol

Be warned - this course is TOUGH. I’m a 1.5 index and took a beating fighting 20-30 mph crossing trade winds off the ocean. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you shoot considerably higher than your handicap

The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The lady in the pro shop was a sweetheart and help me pick out souvenirs to take home. The caddy master spent 20 minutes talking to me about the history of the course and the layout. The folks at the bar were extremely nice. Even the maintenance guys waved and complimented my good shots lol. I highly recommend playing here

I had a very nice round at Punta Blanca today. The course is in excellent shape, especially since they just had a hurricane. The greens are immaculate. Some areas around the course have some.damage but the course is all picked up and ready to be played. I would have given 5 stars but the bunkers are pretty much rocks.

Best staff ever. They keep your clubs safe and ready, friendly service every day. I would call this a resort style course, very fun to play. In good condition, greens look slow but are fairly quick. The restaurant and bar was also excellent. Well worth the cart pricing

We play at Cocotal each time we visit Punta Cana. The staff are really helpful and friendly especially Marcellino who always was considerate and smiling! The on course service with food and drink was always a welcome site and had a great choice of sandwiches this holiday. Sadly Benjamin was not open due to the recent Hurricane Ian damage. We especially enjoy Benjamina Holes 3 and 6!!
    Next time!

As a course, it was a lot of fun and great service from Caddy. They do NOT offer quality rental clubs but are good enough to make it a day. this course used to host a Latin PGA event and you can see the potential in it as a avid golfer who has seen a lot of courses. I would play it again when in the area.

If you play golf for the beauty of the course and it’s surroundings, this is the one. If you play for score, go somewhere else. Extra ordinary beauty, extra ordinary difficulty. Few players, fantastic course condition, good caddies. Windy days here could be hell but caught a great day. Pete Dye punishes golfers so be prepared to have the course beat you into the dirt. Perfectly maintained, flawless greens and fairways. Expensive but worth it. Memorable.

I wrote to the golf club and got a response that it is a private facility with only members and guests staying at Amanera having access. So I couldn't play which is sad since the course seems very nice and the closest one (10 min car ride) from my hotel. The other nearest course is 1h in a car.

Just came back from DR. I stayed at Casa de Campo and during this time it was very quite. Still no break on the cost of golf. I rented a car so I gave La Estancia a try. Whaa surprise!!!! Compared to the Links at Casa, $160 this is a steal. $80 with cart and waters. That's what a NYC public course charges without the waters.
The course is immaculate and the people were great. The caddie I used, Romon, was at Casa but couldn't get any work, too many caddies. He was great.
I met some guys from Cleveland and spoke to them and we went as 2 4balls and they couldn't believe how nice it was.
I played 3 rounds there and all were under 4 hrs. One day played on my own and finished in 2hrs 15 mins and that was playing 2 balls into the greens.
I would HIGHLY recommend you play this course if you are in the ares.
Also the bar was open and serving food. I just had a few beers but they were ice cold and reasonably priced.

We had a great time. The course apparently has been recently remodeled. It was awesome--lakes, waterfalls, long greens, accommodating people. We went for their breakfast in the lodge--it was great and a bargain. There is lodging located on the grounds. We stayed at Casa del Lago, a small condo community a short walk from the clubhouse. An all around great time. It only rained one afternoon.

Great experience playing tthe Links. A few holes line a couple of large ponds. While it isn't the most spectacular course at casa de campo (teeth of the dog and dye fore were higher on that ranking), it was very enjoyable and a shorter round which had it's pluses.
