What travelers are saying
- Northern_HikerToronto, Canada399 contributionsWe took a taxi from Varadero. It cost us 100 CUC and the driver acted as kind of a guide, got us into the game and waited around to drive us home.
We were there for a playoff game in the lower priced 3 CUC seats and had a fantastic time. The fans are really into the game. The drums were going the entire time and it made for a great atmosphere. The seats were not the most comfortable as we were sitting on concrete however that just added to the experience.
The locals were very accommodating and super friendly despite the language difference. One guy even shared his popcorn with us. At 6pm the game stopped and everyone turned to the scoreboard and honored the Cuban flag being taken down - that was interesting.
Outside of the stadium there was a party atmosphere since it was a playoff game. They had a couple of huge screens setup with tons of food vendors. Everyone was in a party mood.
Surprisingly the overall quality of the baseball was not that good but this was definitely the highlight of our trip to CubaWritten January 10, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - CubanWatersMontreal, Canada3,768 contributionsOcio Club is a place with a pool and a white house that houses an arcade. There is a cafeteria, bar and playground on premises also. A place for the kids really. The pool is not too big and the music is always annoyingly loud with that Cuban sap music they like to play. Not a place to go solo.Written February 6, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Isabelle M.Ottawa, Canada95 contributionsMy 11 year old daughter loves climbing activities. So we HAD to go there. I usually am not scared of anything but this was something. All paths are different and the level of difficulties varies from one path to another. It was really fun and felt extremely safe. However I had my knees shaking after some challenging paths... I recommend this for everyone!
The structure is also a piece of art if you are not an adept of climbing ! It is worth taking the time to see the imagination that went into building it.Written February 6, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Diana L3 contributionsCHACO Travel helped my class learn more about Cuba through an immersive experience. Our study abroad trip in Jan 2020, helped me understand the culture and so much more. This experience will always be one of the best highlights college has given me. Reading about Cuba and studying in textbooks is one thing but traveling with CHACO gave me hands on experience for life. The people, families, and community members we met were so nice, the food AMAZING--this was all thanks to Casey, Grant, and Yanni at CHACO.Written August 26, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Kay S9 contributionsStudio O'208 is an independent art space home to 4 multi-facet artists in Old Havana. Prior to my visit, I saw some of the works online ..but in person it was beyond words. We visited twice during our stay. If you come at the right hour, you can witness one of them live painting. Work is also available for sale. Can't wait to go back!Written March 8, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- palswabyGrand Cayman59 contributionsThis is a very special and unique BLACK or Dark SAND BEACH. Not many like that. The only problem is that La Isla de La Juventud, is not included in any tourism plans and the manteinance of this beach like the many other on Island are very little.Written November 3, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
