You have to go and see this place.
It was not a good day to go swimming but the views take your breath away .
It down a funny little road in between a load of new build bungalows but don't be fooled by that, the parking is ok but take care close to the edge, you can fall off .
    Take the camera ....

Very nice beach. Not very busy. Nice even entry into the ocean. No seaweeds. Waves have been small most days except last one.

You can get beach chairs and umbrellas at a cost of $15US (2 chairs and one umbrella). The lady is very nice.

The food truck is closed, but there is a small restaurant that is open - but it has been closed on many occasion.

Fantastic area with a mix of tourists and locals. Wide variety of eateries and bars. Generally all with good prices, and the facilities in the square expand as necessary (additional tables, chairs, and gazebos) Plenty of shade.

Plenty of options here, food, drink, watersports and watertaxi pick ups. Recommended if visiting, parking available.

Good beach with parking, facilities and a beach bar. Water a bit on the rough side but wouldn’t stop you swimming. Not a beach you’d travel to but very nice if you are in the area.

Stayed on the island for 5 weeks and visited majority of popular beaches and non compared to browns. The sea was perfectly still for our 9 month old with no currents or large waves even on windy days.
From this beach it’s easy to swim out 100 yards and swim with turtles and the occasional manta ray.
The guys that rent the sun loungers here were brilliant and you will pay about 15-20US for two chairs and an umbrella.
Some of the nicest food is available from street vendors nearby.

This is a fabulous beach and the Atlantic Ocean was definitely at its wildest when we were there. This beach is not a swimmers beach but is still very much a beach to visit. Beware of the sand flies and also there was a Portugese Man of War Jellyfish on the beach. Make sure you take a look at the fossils in the rocks near the waters edge.

Fabulous to see the racehorses swimming in the sea. They clearly love it, no arthritic horses on Barbados …Wouldn’t miss it.

Would be happy to miss the diabolical wannabe insta- influencer getting in the way of everyone’s views but once her hair got wet she left…

Lovely soft white sands and clear water. Sun loungers and parasols to rent. Someone mentioned no public toilets, but there are at the south end. Cheap drinks shacks at the south end and hotels and restaurants at the north. Great place to lounge around and have a dip in the sea. One drawback is the litter next to the private houses and around the picnic benches, it really lets the area down.

This beach was very different from the ones on the West side of the island. Where they are calm and good for swimming, this was the surfers' sized waves and we even found some seashells along the beach. It's worth the trip to see both sides of Barbados
