- navyjim58Czech Republic860 contributionsSpent three nights in Kvilda Czech Republic in the Sumava National Park biking. Biked too these areas each day. Good place for pictures. Picnic tables there. Great biking trails for Czech. Did not have to spend much time on main roads. Great views and interesting sites. Sumava is a beautiful area to visit. Recommend and we will return.Written July 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Core LogicPerth, Australia345 contributionsJezerní Slať is located between Kvilda and Horská Kvilda, and is a great little stop for cyclists, drivers and cross-country skiiers. There is a small lookout over the lake, and an information panel with interesting facts about the place. As mentioned in the other reviews, this is an interesting place to visit no matter the weather.Written December 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Was able to peak in through an open window. - Spotter SPrague, Czech Republic770 contributionsI visited SKI KVILDA in February 2017 and spend couple of hours there. You can expect just smaller ski-lifts POMA and not so heavy slope for skiing. I can recommend for families with small children and beginners. Additionaly, this area is very famous for skiing on tracks so you can combine your trip. Coming back to downhill course and the lifts, the staff is really friendly and nice. Price for skiing is low, but refreshment (hot dogs etc.. ) little bit higher. Some of the restaurants in the neighbourhood - if you consider to take lunch - are closed just for their guests.Written February 2, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
