Absolutely loved the boat trip - very informative, with lots of of history about the coastline, including Kingsdown where the Romans invaded Britain, followed by 30 mins exhilarating high speed journey back to port.
An unforgetable experience, loved every part of the trip, the boat ride was great fun and seeing the seals was magical, the guides were very informative throughout.

The memorial is in such a peaceful setting overlooking Folkestone and definitely well worth a visit although there was something sureal being fortunate enough to see a passing Spitfire doing a barrel role overhead...
The static displays of the Hurricane and Spitfire are outstanding, the monument and the landscaping of the site was terrific and the experience in the interpretation center was sophisticated and amazing.

As always the miniature railway was a hit with our children and the volunteer in charge chatted to them and showed them the  Hogwarts Express, which pleased them as the boys were both dressed as Harry Potter!

what a lovely surprise, we live in dover and decided to visit the Grand Shaft, (nostalgia time folks!) we went to the Fort. the layout and information was extensive, the enthusiasm of the volunteers catching.
The Drop Redoubt and Grand Shaft in Dover is only open a few weekends a year during the summer but is well worth visiting.
