What travelers are saying
- ndjulo13Lenexa, KS9 contributionsWe had a blast at Pensacola Beach! Not too many people even though it was Spring Break. Learned how to surf a little and lots of fun in the sun!Written March 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Heather JohnsonSterling, IL18 contributionsNational Parks do beaches best. The sands were gorgeous and squeaky, the facilities adequate, and the water as emerald green as you'd expect! Johnson Beach, near Perdido Key, was our absolute favorite! A must visit if you're in the area and don't want the crowds or the spring breakers!Written March 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tiffandemily02Pearland, TX174 contributionsWe stopped at the fort. We walked around and went into the National Park store at the fort entrance. We went to the beach at the Langdon parking area. Water was cold but we still got in. Beautiful day at the beach. Bathrooms and covered picnic area too. We took all our gear. A ton of broken sand dollars on the beach so we snorkeled out to the sand bar hoping to find whole ones. (We had wet suits on.). No luck on the treasure hunt today. Nice 20 min drive from Pensacola Beach condo.Written March 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jessitrebleAnchorage, AK36 contributionsinexpensive to walk the pier, rent a fishing rod, and buy bait. Beautiful view from the pier and great way to watch the sunset. Saw red fish, shark and a sea turtle during a couple hours.Written November 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ed MooreGardner, KS5 contributionsGreat experience at zip line course, bar, and parasailing. Guys running the parasailing did a tremendous job, kept us all engaged, took time to explain things clearly. They were great!!! This is a great place for all ages.Written March 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Heather JohnsonSterling, IL18 contributionsHenderson State Park Beach in Destin was beautiful. Casino Beach in Pensacola was too Spring Break-y. Opal Beach...it was the motherlode! The facilities were sufficient. Parking was ample. It felt private and the drive along this stretch of road was gorgeous. It truly was a National Park setting in its best beach-y form.Written March 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cats Over D10 contributionsAwesome! Lots of info available. The volunteers are extremely knowledgeable. They give great advice. You can get red flashlights for walking the beach at night because of turtles. Please Google why. You'll learn lots of info. Highly recommend stopping by this location.Written August 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CADallas, TX196 contributionsBeautiful clean beach. We went to check it out in case we ever bring our dogs on vacation. It’s not a huge area. There is a sign on each end designating where dogs are allowed. I walked the distance off using an app on my phone. It is .07 mile or approximately 123 yards wide. We stopped by later in the day around 5 pm and saw several people coming out there to visit with their dogs. I wouldn’t bring my pets out there in the middle of the summer due to the heat. I think it would be a nice place to visit with them on cooler days, or early morning & early evening during warmer months. It’s nice to see that Pensacola Beach has dog Beach areas to enjoy with our furry friends! I’m taking off 1 star only because I think the designated area could be much larger. The beach itself is amazing.Written May 23, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sierra C6 contributionsEveryone was very friendly and the place was very clean! The water was absolutely gorgeous. The only thing is I wish they had a place to rinse off before leaving. Much less traffic than the main beaches.Written July 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- crystal m2 contributionsGuys were super helpful and attentive. So much easier than lugging our own stuff to the beach. Great!Written November 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
